Houston regretted his choice to go out with everyone for drinks. He shouldn't have agreed in the first place, it wasn't his kind of thing at all but he felt it would be rude if he didn't.

Quite quickly though, the detective realized that he was surrounded by a bunch of humans based on how quickly they ended up getting drunk. Werewolves had a much higher alcohol tolerance than humans did.

"So tell me, what did you think of your first day on the job?" Ambrose inquired as he downed his third beer.

"I don't think that it is a place thus far. Different but not in a bad way." Houston replied with a frown as he looked at the greasy food that had been put down in front of them. He couldn't tell if it was edible or not.

"That's good to hear. I'm sure you'll get to enjoy it more the longer that you're here. I did tell you that your lodging has already been taken care of, right?"
