Kapitel 149: Why?

Apryl was starting to second-guess herself as she made her way back to her house. She thought that she was doing the right thing by sticking with her family. It seemed like the safest and most sensible solution considering everything that was going. Maybe it wasn't though. 

Maybe there was something different that she should have been doing instead of staying with everyone else. Though she had said it was due to the fact that she wanted to be able to protect her family if something should happen, one of the larger reasons also had to do with the fact that she didn't like the idea of being too far away from her family. That wasn't something that she had ever done before. 

The female had always stuck with her family. It was what she was most comfortable doing even when some of her other siblings decided to leave the pack. She didn't think that there was any reason for her to follow after them as she did desire any of the things that made them want to leave.
