It was really a great move for Hayashi Sakura to study her lessons in advance since their teachers kept throwing on-the-spot quizzes at them on this particular day. 

Unlike others who continued murmuring on their seats, Sakura could face these quizzes with utmost confidence.

The dedication Sakura showed towards her studies led to her getting highest marks in almost every subject in most of her classes, with the exception of her first-period class in which she and Ken are sitting together.

Well, as expected to the young man who got the highest mark in the national universal test, Ken also got the highest mark in that particular subject, with Sakura as the second one in the rankings with merely a two-point difference between their scores.

Even until now, Sakura still can't believe that the casual and nonchalant kid who doesn't show any interest in his studies is now beating her in rankings.
