"Are you both his parents?"

"No." Brad and I said at the same time. My face flushed with embarrassment as my eyes met with Brad's. I quickly looked away staring at anything interesting in the room but him.

"We are his guardians," I said. Kayden was back in Brad's lap.

"You were having a session with him?" I cocked a brow up

"Yes, it's mandatory every student must have at least three sessions with the guardian counselor, and that's me."

"We were not notified about that." My tone sounded edgy making Mrs. Richard's face twinge a little.

"We did inform a guardian."

"I didn't get a call from the school"

"The school called me." Brad calmly said. My angry eyes flash at him.

"And you failed to tell me?" I snapped letting out my anger on him. I am kind of mad the school called Brad first not me.

"I told Alice."
