Kapitel 52: The return ( three years later)

Three years later.

"Miss Montgomery we have arrived."

I slunk my back on the car seat. I took in a deep breath.

My chauffeur politely opened the door for me. I stepped out with brashness and some sort of mettle.

The cold damp air of the morning ruffled my curly hair slightly. I took off my sunglasses and peered at the skyscraper in front of me. Zinc Corporation.

My lips curved into a smile. The moment I have been waiting for is here. After three long years of being away from the city. I'm back and I'm going to scrape the city with my sharp claws.

I put back the black sunglasses on, and comb my finger through my hair to tame the damage caused by the little ruffle of the cold morning air.

I stride in with my chin high and carry my newfound confidence on my shoulders. My steps were steady and unwavering.

I made my way towards the reception desk. I wince when the strong perfume of the receptionist hits my nose.
