Kapitel 14: 14 The Doctor
"Lord Williams I don't know why but her body is not responding according to our treatment properly, however..."
"I don't want to know how doctor, you must put my daughter in good shape, do you here me? It's been a month and there's still no progress. What am I paying you for?!?" Old Williams was full of anger from the doctors report. Although the doctor claims to be one of the best physician in the entire city and among the top thirty in the whole Kingdom, for Lord Williams to go to such extent spoke volumes of how much he cared or it could be how vexed Ben would get towards him.
"I understand sir, I'll try my best to provide. In fact I've brought a few potions from a friend of mine. Let's see what will be new with the treatment." The doctor bowed his head, acting meekly in front of Lord Williams.
Lord Williams said nothing else but scoffed then left the infirmary in big strides.
"Williams, oh Williams, our target isn't your little girl, but, we have to use what we have to get what we want." The doctor showed a wicked smile as Old Williams left.

In the afternoon after refreshing on from the early morning brewing, Ben arrived at the infirmary like always. But this time was different as he came with his bodyguard.
"Good afternoon master Ben, you're here to see and today, right? she had been improving quite well recently." The infirmary doctor who just had a 'few' words with Old Williams greeted Ben the moment he saw him.
But in return Ben said nothing. This was one of his character that followed him into this world. If he doesn't have a good impression about someone there's nothing and no one that can change that. He hasn't known why but he always felt the guy dressed as a doctor had hidden motives, yet he was quick to put that thought at the back of his mind and answer indifferently. "yes, I am."
"Excellent. Please, follow me." The doctors said as though he had been waiting for him to come all along. And this only irritated Ben the more.
"Doctor..." Ben called when the doctor began to lead the way. The doctor answered so he continued, "... I think I know my way from here. There will be no need to trouble yourself over petty thing as such." Ben said smiling, his tone spoke differently.
"Hmm, I see but I can't let you go in alone since..."
"That's why I have my men with me." Ben interrupted in the middle of the doctors words. Without another Ben pushed passed the doctor and went in.
"I see, then that's fine, however, they are not allowed to step into the room with you. Since you want some privacy I'll be just outside the door." The doctor said with a hint of disdain.
Looking at the man in the eyes Ben finally agreed and went in without the doctor and his guards, leaving them behind.
"Hey cupcake, how are you feeling?" Ben's indifferent expression had been replaced to one of love and care.
"Hey doughnut, hehe, what brings you here?" Anna said with a huge smile but her wince didn't escape Ben's sharp eyes.
"I brought you something to... to relieve the pain." taking out a vile from his pocket, he handed it to Anna whispering.
Looking at the small vile containing thick green goo in her hand she had no idea what it was. Seeing Ben who was still standing in expectation she whispered back, knowing it was some kind of secret. "what is it?"
"It's something that will help you greatly, trust me." Ben replied.
After a while she drank the lotion. Anna felt a warm sensation passing through her throat into every part of her body, suddenly her body became really hot, some would say she was practically steaming right now. Before she could shout in pain the pain stopped all of a sudden, relieving of her pain she was feeling a moment ago. The headaches stopped too.
"Wow, Ben, where did you get this? It's works way better than what the doctors give me." She excitedly said. Ben on the other hand was looking at the changes happening inside her body with Lucy's helps before he was snapped back to reality.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Said Ben with a cheeky smile. Seeing she wasn't fazed he added. "I made it myself."
"Yeah, right."
"Anna?"
"What is it, Ben?" Anna asked as quietly as possible while fondling the ville in her hands.
"You've been here for the past one month, how's your progress with the doctor?" Ben bent down and whispered to her.
"Well it's been going but I don't seem to have or notice any changes within me even though the pain has subsided it's like nothing else happened, why are you asking?" She stated sadly. She was meant to begin here training to increase her mind power and strengthen her spiritual world, instead her she is in a sickbed. Now that a month has passed she'll be left with seven months to train her spiritual world to take in spells and that will only depend on how diligent she can be.
"Anna, can you do something for me?"
"Sure I guess, but I don't know how I can be of help with my present predicament."
"I just want you to no longer take the drugs the doctor gives you, can you do that?" Ben looked at her with a stern look.
Seeing such an expression on Ben was uncommon for Anna, this only meant he was really serious. Because of this Anna couldn't help but ask. "Ben, those drugs are what is treating my body. Why would you want me to stop taking them?" She clearly wasn't happy with his request.
"Please even if it's only for two weeks just don't take them. Do you trust me?" Ben tried his best to persuade her. This was because if another discovery.
"Only for two weeks then, dad is going to be mad if he finds out I haven't been taking my medications." She finally gave in after a thought or two.
"great, now every day I'll be bringing you these drugs every morning and..."

The door suddenly sprung open just when Ben was still talking, the doctor came to Anna with a syringe containing some medicine.
"excuse me master Ben, but it's time for Miss Anna's afternoon medication." He said totally disregarding the young man besides him.
"haha oh, doctor I don't think my sister will let you plunge that syringe in her."
"I guess she'll have to bare because this is her treatment." the doctor said.
"Sir, I really don't feel comfortable with needles. Furthermore, my father knows about it."
At this point the doctor was already running out of patience and was getting frustrated. However he knew his job and wouldn't fail. The best part of his job was his acting.
"Oh dear, it must be very unpleasant with needles for you then. Hmm okay then, that would mean a lot of pills, can you take that?" He asked Anna gently.
"Yes, I think I can do it?" She answers after glancing at Ben.
"Then I'll prepare your drugs." Stealing a glare at Ben he left the room.
Ben and Anna watched the fading back of the doctor before sighing in relief. Dropping the topic they began chatting and continued their daily gossips just to while away time. Anna will be smart enough to fool the doctor around, at least for two weeks. Since from what she had told him, he hardly checks up in her.
Spending a few hours with Anna he left the infirmary to have a stroll around the mansion. Come to think of it for the past one month Ben really hasn't gone round the mansion. Maybe the reason would be that the mansion wasn't just a single building but was surrounded by ten's of other houses with the infirmary being the closest to the main building. Some would say it was a small estate. The guards lived in some of those house including the maids while others are either family or friends of Old Williams.
Ben was wondering aimlessly, lost in his own thoughts. He kept thinking about his previous life, no one here knew that this 'Ben' isn't the Ben they knew. The memory of him falling from the tree back on earth was still too vivid. He had once questioned himself thinking that someone must have done this to him without knowing he'd be incarnated into another life.
