Kapitel 429: Darkness and Light

He didn't want to get out of bed. It was warm and comfortable. Too warm for his liking but the warmth spreading in his heart felt too good to let go.

Sadly, he had to. The Witch was already in his home. He had felt her presence the second they stepped into his home. How could he not when the entire palace was a part of him?

He gently pushed the girl away and stood up. Malik walked out after cleaning up to find the witch. He had a lot of questions that only she could answer. For instance, how the necklace ended up wrapped around the girl's soul.

He didn't notice the girl stirring in her sleep. She waited until the door closed behind him and opened her eyes. 

She sighed, her gaze stuck on the closed door. Finally, she was alone and she could think through everything that had happened.
