Kapitel 314: Traumatized

Sobs filled the air as Amelia hugged her knees into her chest. For the first time in the former, she felt small and undeserving.

Her hands and lips were filled with fresh blood. Her man's blood. What made it hard to accept was that her love wasn't enough to tame the monster inside her.

She has hurt the only man who loved her unconditionally. She tried to wipe the blood away, her sanity slowly being devoured by guilt. 

The taste of his blood normally made her high as though she was a friend. At the moment, she detested it. No! That wasn't quite right. 

She could never hate anything about him. Rather, she loathed that part of her that took pleasure in his pain.

She had almost killed him. Her gaze drifted to the bed where he lay unconscious. She was a distance away but could hardly detect his breath.

His pulse was almost nonexistent at this point. She shut her eyes close tightly ignoring the woman who was looking at her pitifully.
