Kapitel 58: Chapter 36 (A)

I stirred in the sheets, groaning at the sound that was blaring through my room. I grabbed a pillow and put it on my face to block out the ringtone of my bloody phone but that didn’t help. It kept blasting “One last time” by Ariana Grande and I had no choice but to answer the call. Due to the rude hour of call, I didn’t bother to look at the caller ID.

“Who is it?” I spoke, huffing in the phone.

“Baby…” Ryan’s voice pulled me out of my sleepy state. I looked at the neon clock on my nightstand and it was ticking 2: 30 in the morning.

“Ryan? Is everything alright?” I questioned, creasing my forehead. My heart was beating so hard and fast against my chest, felt like it was fucking my chest cavity but trust me it didn’t feel nearly good. Ryan never called me at this hour.

“I miss you.” He spoke but there was a drunk slur. I frowned.

“Have you been drinking?” I asked, getting out of sheets. I don’t know why I did that.

“Nope.” He spoke and then giggled.
