THE NEXT DAY

He rubbed his swollen eyes and then he yawned so big while stretching his arms in the air. He woke up early but was still feeling sleepy. After what happened last night, he stayed in his room and cried without even knowing why he's hurting so much.

Today was the day of the first photoshoot and he shouldn't be looking like this. He looks like a withering vegetable. He washed his face and brushed his teeth, and then headed outside. 

In the dining area, he saw Chen Zixuan sitting on the counter with a phone in his ear and a mug of coffee in his right hand. He was talking to someone, which is making him frown.

Xiu Yan didn't want to disturb that important early call. Who knows, it might be the staff or his father? He flinched when the toaster pumped up the bread. It caused Chen Zixuan to gaze at him. 

The CEO put the call to an end and approached Xiu Yan. The other guy almost stumbles on the side counter.
