-Monday-
Another day passed, and tomorrow was the day of the long-awaited first task, and I could feel the tension and anticipation in the air, with many excited to see what challenge the champions would have to overcome and curious to see how we would fare.
And others, the more sensible ones, were worried about the results, fearing that some unfortunate accident might happen, and among the most worried were those close to the champions themselves.
My friends trusted my abilities, but even they couldn't help but fear that something would happen to me.
And I could understand their feelings, since if they were competing in a deadly and dangerous tournament I would be worried too, even if they were the literal reincarnation of Merlin.
But changing the subject, yesterday Harry followed Hagrid to the Forbidden Forest and saw the dragons with his own eyes, and now he was even more focused on improving his magical and flying skills, spending almost the entire day training or flying in your Firebolt.
He also told me that he talked to Sirius through the two-way mirror that his godfather had given him for his birthday, and that in that conversation Sirius informed him that he would watch the tournament with the Tonks.
And this helped to reduce the tension and pressure that Harry was feeling, as now he would have the support of his family.
Sirius also told Harry to tell me that they were trying to find a way for my family to come to Hogwarts too, which made me happy.
I knew that because they were Muggles, my parents wouldn't be able to find or see the castle, but just like the portal at King's Cross station, if accompanied by a wizard they could enter Hogwarts, and once inside they could see the castle and its entire grounds without needing the company of a wizard.
And thinking about my family seeing Hogwarts in all its resplendence and magic brought a smile to my face, knowing that they would love the experience.
'Well, Cele will love it. My parents will probably be too worried about me to pay attention to the castle' I thought, shaking my head with a small ironic smile.
'I hope they don't have a heart attack when they see me facing a dragon'
And speaking of dragons, I visited Mereo, Saphira and Arya again.
I visited them on the same day that Harry and Hagrid went to camp.
And while they were seeing the dragons from afar I was next to the great creatures, talking to them and asking questions about their races, discovering a lot of new information that wasn't written in even the most detailed books about dragons.
It was interesting to learn that dragons had their own art form, and among them was a type of flight that was almost like a dance for them.
They also used their flames to show off their artistic talent, with the most powerful and brightest flames being considered the most beautiful, and I discovered that Mereo was considered an artist among the other dragons in the dragon reserve.
And it was ironic to think that the flames they used to destroy and burn everything and everyone was also a type of art and form of expression for these great flying lizards.
'Well, I'm not going to judge them, there are humans who do stranger things than that' I shrugged.

-Wooden Bridge – Afternoon-
"Finally some rest time" I said, stretching before taking a deep breath, feeling relaxed.
"Ethan Night" I heard someone say behind me, and already feeling who that person was I resisted the urge to palm my forehead.
'I should have kept quiet' I sighed.
"Yes Miss Delacour?" I asked, turning to the French champion.
And she seemed to realize that I was irritated, as she began to fidget with a nervous look.
"Hmm, can we talk for a second?" she asked, and I stared at her for a while.
'Her allure might be a pain in the ass to deal with, but it's not like it does anything to me other than bother me' I thought, before sighing again.
"Okay" I said, and Fleur opened a slight smile that couldn't hide her feelings of relief and happiness.
I then approached the edge of the bridge and sat down, looking at Fleur and gesturing my head to my side.
Fleur stared at me for a few seconds, until she understood what I meant, coming and sitting next to me.
Now side by side I waited for her to speak, wondering what she wanted to talk to me about.
"Dragons" was the first thing she said.
"Huh?" I turned to her confused.
Fleur was looking straight ahead at the landscape, and I could feel feelings of nervousness and fear coming from her, and her hands were clenched into fists.
"We'll have to face dragons in the first task tomorrow" she repeated, and I blinked in surprise.
And I was surprised because I wasn't expecting her to tell me, a rival, about an information that would give her an advantage.
"I know it's surprising, but I'm not lying," she said, misinterpreting my reaction.
"I know you're not lying, I also know about the dragons" I said, and she blinked, looking at me and noticing my ironic smile.
"Oh" she lowered her head and I could see her cheeks blush, "I thought you didn't know, and your surprised reaction made me think that…" she started trying to explain herself, and I laughed lightly.
"Who would have thought that the incredible and beautiful French champion would act like that" I said, which only made her even more embarrassed.
Shaking my head in amusement I continued speaking, much to her relief.
"I was actually surprised because I wasn't expecting you to tell me about the dragons," I said, before turning to her with a curious look, "Why did you want to tell me this?"
"Because they are dragons" she replied, which only made me more confused, "They are dangerous, and you would be in danger if you went to the first task without knowing about them"
"That may be true, but why tell me this? I'm your rival in the tournament"
"Because I don't want you to get hurt" and hearing her answer I could feel her concern directed at me.
I didn't understand why she was acting like this, and from the way she was talking, her concern was specifically for me, and she probably didn't have the same concern for the other champions.
And realizing this I stared at her, becoming more and more confused by this girl who was acting completely different from what I expected.
"Why?" I asked again, looking into her eyes.
She then started to fidget, having an internal debate about whether to respond or not, and meanwhile I waited.
"I'll tell you why" she started to say, and I immediately paid attention to her, "But only after the first task"
And hearing that I grimaced.
'Why all this secrecy?' I asked myself, before sighing.
"Fine, but as soon as the first task is finished you will tell me everything" I said, not giving her a chance to deny it, "You will tell me why you are so worried about me, why you pay so much attention to me, and why you insist on try to talk to me"
Fleur's cheeks flushed at my words, but she reluctantly nodded.
"Okay" she said. She then took a deep breath to calm herself, before turning to me with a serious look, "But you also have to promise to answer one… no, two questions of mine."
"Hmm" I started to reflect on this request, 'Well, it's just two questions, and I doubt she'll ask about any of my secrets' I thought.
"I promise Miss Delacour" I said, and she smiled happily.
"Then it's a deal," she said, extending her hand to me, "And please call me Fleur"
I then held her hand and shook it, sealing our agreement.
"Okay... Fleur" I smiled.
'It's not so bad talking to her... I should stop ignoring and run away from her' I thought.
'The only thing that stopped me from talking to her was her uncomfortable allure and the fact that in the canon at the beginning she was an arrogant and somewhat spoiled girl'
And looking at the smiling Fleur now I realized that I judged her too soon, but that raised another question.
'Why the change in personality so soon?' I asked myself.
And without knowing my thoughts, Fleur continued sitting with a happy expression, satisfied that she had finally managed to talk to me.
'The more time I spend with him the more I am sure he is that person' she thought, looking into my amber eyes feeling a sense of familiarity.
End.
