[Author • Sorry for not posting the last few days, I lost someone dear to me to Covid and had a small breakdown because of it. I couldn't find the energy nor mood to write and didn't want to post a shitty chapter, although this one sure isn't perfect but atleast its written when I have my brain function normally lol.]
(Some people asked what the Spirit Bone he got from Xian Xia did, it is called Skull Of Honesty, it gives Chu Feng immunity to Mind Attacks and illusions + giving him the ability to put someone into an illusion and show them their Heart Demons, which is something like showing their biggest regret, fear or their dream's being crushed while also boosting his brain activity and boosting his affinity with the Light and Dark attribute. It shows the 'honest appearance of everything, so it basically sees through anything which is kind of broken)

''You want me to absorb 7 Spirit Rings in two weeks that are above 100.000-Years-Old?!'' Chu Feng was still on the bottom of the well, his internal injuries were slowly healing while thinking of a way too complete this quest.
''The only place that could have so many 100.000-Years-Old Spirit Beasts is that place''
Chu Feng was pondering what to do now since he felt that his body had way too much Spirit Power inside of it, when the Dragon God said his power would help him absorb both of the Dragon King's Power that was remaining in its corpses he didn't think much of it since both Dragon King's were dead for a long time!
Chu Feng put his full attention on the healing process and took another hour to heal, he stood up and went up the well.
Chu Feng jumped out of the water and arrived in front of an anxious Zhu Zhuqing who was looking at him with a face full of worry.
''Are you hurt anywhere? What happened?'' Zhu Zhuqing started Chu Feng all around him to try and find any potential injuries but couldn't find any, ''Do you have an internal injury?'' her pretty little hands were roaming all around his body while inspecting him and Chu Feng naturally wouldn't want to stop her from doing that.
Seeing that Chu Feng wasn't injured Zhu Zhuqing let out a sigh of relief, ''If you do something so stupid again I will strangle you!'' Zhu Zhuqing said while trying to be angry but couldn't bring herself to do so.
She knew he came because the necklace and even injured himself because of it! She felt warm inside and knew she made the right decision about him, I disregarded everything and instantly went to save her, although she knew Chu Feng liked Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu aswell, she didn't mind it since she knew he would have other women and she, Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu got a lot closer recently due to Dai Mubai dragging the boys away from them.
Everytime Dai Mubai tried to get close to Zhu Zhuqing an invisible force stopped him from coming closer than three meters which greatly infuriated him and therefore he tried splitting the group into two, all of this just points out how selfish, arrogant and shameless he was.
''I'm fine, my body just had some internal injuries but they are healed now'' Chu Feng smiled and hugged her, Zhu Zhuqing froze up for a second but put her hands around his waist and put her head on his chest.
The two stayed like that for a few minutes, they could feel eachother's heartbeat and Chu Feng really enjoyed having this woman hugging him so close as if she was afraid he would leave.
He knew of her past and that that asshole just ditched her while not giving a single bit about her feelings, Chu Feng separated from the hug and lifted her up in a princess carry.
''Kyaa'' Zhu Zhuqing let out a cute soft scream out of surprise, Chu Feng lifted her up in a blink and before she knew it they were under a tree.
''That scream was quite cute'' Chu Feng said with a teasing smile on his face which made Zhu Zhuqing pinch his waist in embarrassment.
They were under a big tree that had different coloured flowers, Zhu Zhuqing was snuggling in Chu Feng's embrace with a peaceful expression, she looked up at Chu Feng and smiled widely at him but he could see she was scared.
Chu Feng stroked her hair and hugged her closer and pulled her closer kissed her forehead, his behavior made Zhu Zhuqing more relaxed and put her head back on his chest.
''Are you scared I will leave?'' Chu Feng said directly while looking into the distance.
''H....how did you know?'' Zhu Zhuqing shook slightly and asked him while grabbing him tighter, she still wasn't over what happened with the first one she cared about, she didn't care about the person anymore but the experience about how he just packed up and left after his repeated letters hurt her.
''Eyes tell more than words Zhuqing, look at me'' Zhu Zhuqing turned her head towards Chu Feng who looked her straight into her eyes and had a kind smile on his face.
''Are you sure you want to be with me for the rest of your life Zhuqing?''
''Mmm, but i'm scared, scared that you leave suddenly. No matter how much I try I just can't reach you'' Zhu Zhuqing nodded and said while small tears were appearing in her eyes.
''I always say to myself actions speak louder than words, first go look at the bag I handed you'' Chu Feng said while wiping the tears from her eyes.
Zhu Zhuqing was confused but still did what he wanted and opened the bag and let out a surprised shout,
''This a Dark Devil Cat!''
Zhu Zhuqing looked at the unconscious creature with her hands before her mouth and looked back at Chu Feng.
She felt warm inside by knowing he hunted such a powerful creature for her and now understood why he said that actions speak louder than words, she wasn't stupid and knew this was his way of telling her not to worry.
Chu Feng stood up and looked at her with a smile and hugged her, small tears appeared in her eyes again and the last wall between them broke into pieces.
''Strength is obtainable and I could make you stronger directly but that wouldn't fit you that is why I left you at Shrek, with your character it would only be detrimental in the long run if I raised you like a flower in a greenhouse'' Chu Feng whispered in her ears which made her hug him tighter and knew he was right.
''But you could have at least told me right?'' Zhu Zhuqing looked at him with a bit of blame in her teary eyes.
''ha..ha'' Chu Feng awkwardly laughed and knew he could've done that but although he wasn't a virgin in his last life he was new to love besides Xian Xia but one relationship wouldn't make him all-knowing about a woman's heart.
''Sorry...'' Chu Feng said while wiping the tears out of her eyes, ''Since your Spirit Power is level 40 already go ahead and absorb its Spirit Ring''
''Now?! But I can't absorb it!'' Zhu Zhuqing was surprised for a moment but instantly knew she would be unable to handle it with her current capabilities, she thought Chu Feng got her the Dark Devil Cat for her Fifth or Sixth Spirit Ring.
''Just trust me, It agreed to be killed and absorbed by you so there is no negative emotions that will stop you from absorbing it. Its power might be too much to handle for you but I will help you with that'' Chu Feng said to her while bringing the kid closer to her.
''It agreed to be killed?'' Zhu Zhuqing said in surprise.
''Yes, its family got killed and I slaughtered those two Spirit Beasts but it was poisoned and it was too late to save it so I asked if it was already with this plan'' Chu Feng explained, he knew Zhu Zhuqing loved cats so he naturally wouldn't tell her that even against its will it would've forced it instead...
Zhu Zhuqing agreed and finally Zhu Zhuqing killed the Dark Devil Cat with slight reluctance and absorbed its Spirit Ring with Chu Feng's help, the Spirit Ring was well-above her limit and the power of the Spirit Ring would've killed her if it wasn't for Chu Feng absorbing it with his Third Spirit Ring's ability (100.000-Years-Old Spirit Ring), Zhu Zhuqing was too busy to care about anything around her so she didn't notice the Spirit Ring but Chu Feng knew what kind of power this ability really had.
If he fought a big Spirit Beast he could just keep dodging it while touching it sometimes and depleting its stamina and Spirit Power with this ability, so far he just didn't have the chance or need to use it yet...
''It seems you succeeded'' Chu Feng smiled kindly at Zhu Zhuqing who was breathing heavily in his embrace, he hugged her closer since seeing her going through something so painful would naturally hurt his heart but he knew how stubborn this little cat-girl was and didn't stop her and instead tried to lessen the burden on her body as much as possible.
Zhu Zhuqing released her Spirit Rings and two yellow, one purple and a black Spirit Ring appeared behind her and saw the black Spirit Ring and held her hands in front of her mouth, she knew it was a Dark Devil Cat that was older than 20.000 Years but after feeling her new power did it finally sink in, she had a 10.000-Years-Old Spirit Ring as her fourth Spirit Ring!
Chu Feng and Zhu Zhuqing spent some more time cuddling and kissing eachother and Zhu Zhuqing explained that the ability she got was called 'Dark Devil Transformation' which gave her 'Hell Civet' nine tails which would boost her resistance too illusions and mind attacks, it also gave her a 50% speed boost when she was in the Dark Devil Transformation and her attack power would be doubled but how long she could use it for was mainly relying on how strong her body was due to the overload of power she would obtain but since she was trained by Chu Feng that naturally wasn't much of a problem.
After a few hours Chu Feng reluctantly had to part with her, and told her about how he would be gone for a while again but after that he could take it easy for a while.
''Mmm, but don't do anything rash and keep yourself safe'' Zhu Zhuqing looked at him with a blush and puppy eyes, they were so absorbed in the kissing that her clothes were disheveled and her bra was slightly showing.
They almost took it to the next level but Chu Feng knew this wasn't the moment to do so since he had to hurry up and didn't want to sleep with her to just disappear the next day since she deserved better.
For the next 10 minutes it was just Zhu Zhuqing acting like a worried housewife which made Chu Feng smile and hug her and giving her a last kiss before bringing her back towards a place called Blue Tyrant academy.
''Give a crystal to Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong and tell them that if they find a Spirit Beast around 20.000-Years-Old to just throw this thing at it, it will seal its consciousness and I will help them absorb the Spirit Beast when I come back'' Chu Feng handed Zhu Zhuqing three crystals that had a red and blue aura swirling inside of it.
''I knew you had no good intentions to them'' Zhu Zhuqing pouted which made her look extremely cute but Chu Feng already told her about how he wanted more wives so it wasn't unexpected.
''I don't have any good intentions towards you either but you don't want to run away either right?'' Chu Feng smiled and kissed her forehead and handed her three boxes with the herbs they absorbed in the original story but only Xiao Wu had a different herb since giving her the Yearning Heartbroken Red wouldn't help anyway since Xiao Wu wasn't clear how she felt about him.
''Stay safe!'' Zhu Zhuqing said seriously while looking in Chu Feng's eyes who merely smiled and replied by kissing her forehead once more and disappeared, leaving Zhu Zhuqing near the Shrek Members that merged with the Blue Tyrant Academy.
Chu Feng spent a few hours using Teleport and running towards the location shown on the Treasure Map and searching but suddenly saw a weird sign on a tree, he was currently in the Center of the Star Dou Forest, he already asked Er Ming and Da Ming if they knew something but even they didn't know if there was something special.
When Chu Feng got near the tree with the mark on the tree suddenly started to shine brighter and brighter untill Chu Feng had to close his eyes.
After a minute or so, Chu Feng opened his eyes and saw he was in a different place, huge mountains that were touching the clouds, huge waterfall's that made sounds loud enough to hurt a regular human's ears if they were near it, huge trees that were over 100 meters tall.
Chu Feng looked around a bit but suddenly his Slaughter Aura came out by itself, Chu Feng quickly retracted it to not attract attention in this unknown place and looked towards the East where he saw something familiar.
It was a broken mountain that had the shape of a half-moon, Chu Feng's eyes opened wide and hate seeped into skin and bones.... This mountain... He remembered it as the mountain his mother talked about, this mountain was destroyed by his 'father'….
''So this is the place where you are hiding old man, finally...'' Chu Feng had a crazed smile on his face while his blue and red eyes started shining brighter and brighter....
''Finally, I can make you suffer a fate worse than death!''
