Hunter widened his eyes and instantly turned his head back towards his father's direction. "Never." He replied in a tone that seemed like he was making a solemn vow. He stared directly into his father's eyes with conviction. This, in turn, caused his father to feel slightly uncomfortable with the unwavering trust exhibited by his own son. He found himself unworthy of that trust and subconsciously sighed.

"Then why were you avoiding my gaze just now." Gray asked softly in a soothing tone. His eyes had softened as he looked into his son's jade-like eyes that had its glimmer slightly restored. Although it was still quite dull compared to the time before the camping trip.
