Kapitel 92: Make Me Dinner

Freya stood where she was, looking at the man in silence.

When Gideon saw the calm look on her face, he could not help feeling annoyed.

"What took you so long?"

The man sounded exactly the same as usual. He was clearly annoyed and he made it seem as though he was doing her a huge favor just by lowering himself and talking to her.

Freya said, "I have to take a bus and subway to get home, so it takes 20 minutes and 50 minutes respectively to get to the villa. I only left the company at 5:50 p.m. I then had to wait 30 minutes for the bus to arrive and there was a traffic jam. By the time I got off the bus at the subway, it was already past 7:00 p.m. That's why it took so long. If you have a problem, I will leave work punctually tomorrow."

She sounded relaxed and unhurried. On the surface, it sounded as though she was obediently reporting her activities after work. In reality, she was complaining that he was being unreasonable.
