Kapitel 14: Professional Negotiator

"Hello hello, this is command and I'm requesting all available units to report to Red's Wonderland. There is a masked shooter in the Creative Building. I repeat..."

After repeating his order 2 more times, the officer runs to his captain's office to describe what is happening. Luckily, the police superintendent of the station is in there, listening to the captain.

"...and he was like "watermelon? I thought you said Guatemalan!" (Captain)

"Ahahahahahaha! What a funny guy! Oh! Officer Yang! What brings you in here?" (Superintendent)

"Captain, Superintendent. There has been a hijacking of the Creative Building in Red's Wonderland why a masked shooter who calls themselves "Kimi-chan". I highly recommend using out SWAT unit for this to cooperate"

"Is that really necessary? Is the masked man's gun really real?"

"Without confirmation, we should treat this as such. If it is a real gun, the commissioner general will praise you for your actions. If not, you will be praised for saving a child's life"

Honestly, the officer really hated that he needed to use credit or a chance of praise from the higher ups as a sort of bribe to force their superintendent into doing the right thing.

"Alright then...what do we know about this Kimi-chan?"

"Well, he is highly dangerous and has massive leverage against us in the form of a child. He also has about 15 illustrators working for the production company of Red and Friend's, Happy Pencil. I believe we should be hearing from them soon"

"What?! How the hell did they find out!?"

'.....IT'S THEIR THEME PARK, DUMMY! Oh lord, this hurts my brain'

Rubbing his temples, the officer starts breathing slowly to calm himself and to make sure he doesn't get promoted from officer to inmate; a very rare promotion that is only earned by few officers.

After doing his little massage, he makes eye contact with the utterly stupid and under qualified superintendent they have. The superintendent is just staring back at him with eyes that show they don't know what the hell a handcuff is. Taking another breath, he gently explains it to the man baby.

"Some employees most likely noticed something was off about the building when they couldn't enter it"

"Aha! So they couldn't enter the building! Maybe there's a threat?"

'Huuh? A threat? Were we not talking about the definition of a threat? When the hell.....'

It's getting harder and harder for the officer to not climb up the ranks from a desk jockey to a man with free accommodation with a murderer and a gangster as roommates. But he has a way of calming down; think about his mom and what she'd do if he was in prison.

Obviously, she'd first break him out using her various powers such as finding anything in the refrigerator and then she'd beat him with a shoe and right before he is about to die, she heals him and repeats the process all over again.

"Kuh!.....yes, that is a possibility" (officer)

"Alright! Let's inform the SWAT commander and roll out!"

"Don't forget the negotia-" (officer)

"The negotiator! Let's bring him as well!"

"Great idea, superintendent!" (Captain)

"I know! I didn't get here without reason!" (Superintendent)

The officer youngling spots his prey, however, this youngling is far outmatched by a superior superintendent. The superintendent, having such advantages like age, connections and power is far above this little one's pay grade.

Thankfully, the blooming officer realizes this and resorts to staring chainsaws into the superior superintendent, wishing to have an outlet for his hidden rage and anger of being too weak.

Another day little one, maybe another day.

"Let's go to the Red's Wonderland!" (Superintendent)

After the superintendent gets into his car, the captain and the youngling officer trail him in a police car of much cheaper caliber.

*wwweeeeeewooooooowwweeeeewooooo*

Arriving at Red's Wonderland, they notice that the staff are already evacuating the visitors and now, the only people left are the SWAT team, the police, the president of Red's Wonderland and...a family?

No, judging from their interactions, it's best to chalk it up to a basically non-existent marriage. The woman is glaring at the man while the man is constantly apologizing. Meanwhile, the security guard right behind the man is trembling in his boots.

Is she that scary?

"Excuse me, visitors. There is an emergency and we are requesting that you leave the premises"

"...huh? What did you say? You want me to...Ḽ̶̡͕̪̙̝̖̌͐̽͜ͅȩ̶͍̮͎͎͍̖̬͍̒̎̎͛̇̏̂͜ā̶̢̢̟̼̦̳͕͓̫̪͜v̷̬̹̌e̴̼̍̑̒͒́̿͒̄̀̒́͂͘͘ ̴̻̭̹͉͉͖̦̖̮̺̳͎́̊͛̇̈́̒̌̐̀̆̉m̶̛̗̱͆̑̅̓̎̄̉̒̕̚͠y̷̡̼͕̠̾ ̵̧̲̮̦͔͔̞̞̊͂̽̌̑͝b̸̢̖͍̭̤̠̿͛̏̑͂͋̐̉̅͗̓̎̽̚o̸͔͖̥͔̿̀̊̀̓͠y̸̼̔͋̾̅̑̂͝?"

'What the hell!?! What are those weird.....soothing, voices in my head? They want me to...let her stay? And if she stays, you guys will stay with me? Alright, just don't leave'

"No! I meant that keeping a safe distance is needed; you may stay"

"Thank you"

The troubling part is that they can only surround the building with humans, not cars. So, if Kimi-chan happens to have a vehicle he snuck in, then they have no choice but to get a masters in Meat Crayonology.

The negotiator calls the phone landline in the building and luckily, it seems like Kimi-chan is willing to talk to the negotiators and that means there is a higher chance of retrieving the child.

"Hello? Kimi-chan?"

"Nyaaa~~ hwello, uwu! Awre ywou pewrhaps...negotiator-kun?"

"Yes, I'm the man who will help you get what you want, so we can get what we want. Sounds good?"

"Un! Thank you nii-chan!"

Showing a thumbs-up to the police behind him, they all look at the building in worry since this is just the first step. Who knows, maybe he'll demand 1 trillion won or 69 virgin beauties. More likely the latter.

"Alright. Now, do you mind telling your name?"

"Uuuu...Kimi-chan already told ywou! Baka no negotiator-kun!"

"Ahh, so your name is Kimi-chan, huh? Do you mind telling us if you still have the child unharmed?"

Once the negotiator mentioned the child, Min-hee ram towards the phone and was watching over the shoulder of the negotiator. She loves her son and would just love to intimidate the shooter but sadly, her power doesn't work over the phone.

She understands that the shooter must me irrational and therefore, willing to kill her baby boy. Obviously, she will try her hardest but she isn't Superman or flash. She's a mom. A woman named Min-hee who has happens to love her son.

Turning around, the negotiator sees a sight that horrifies him; a woman with full eyes and a fake smile, staring into his soul. As if she was sucking it out of him with just her stare.

'It's...I need to save this kid'

With a better form of encouragement from the weird woman, the negotiator starts talking to Kimi-chan with a better tone, making Kimi-chan even she'd a few tears since he was a troubled child.

"Kimi-chan, you aren't weird. You are person who is kind enough not to hurt a child"

"Uuuuuu! Thank you, negotiator-kun! When I get down there, I'll take care of that bulgy-wulgy of yours ehehehe"

"Now, you said you wanted...an 18+ illustration of 'Bomi' from 'Red and Friends'? Why is that?"

"E-toooo... watashi wanted to play around with it...ponk! Sworry!"

"So...what did he say? Does he want money?"

"Uhhhh, no sir. He wants a nude illustration of the dog, Bomi, from Red and Friends"

"Alright a- what!?! Nude? That's the 10th time today but we've never had someone go to such an extent..."

'I'm sorry, that's the what? 10th? Why in the name of Allah, Jesus, Zeus and Ra are there 10 hooligans on this earth that are requesting for such a thing? Down bad? NO! This is down appallingly bad! I pray for their parents and friends, if they have any' (negotiator)

"Hmmm...give it him. This is much more important than Bomi's imaginary chastity!"

Seeing that there is a person in this wretched world that acutally cares for the youngsters like what their company says, the negotiator finds that maybe not all high ranking people are bad. Yea, there are people like the superintendent and their captain but still, he shouldn't judge based on position.

A lesson well learnt.

"Alright then. Thank you for your selflessness, sir. I'm sure this was a hard decision"

"No! Don't worry about it. This lovely young lady convinced me that Kim Min-chul, 5 years of age, a very good looking boy, a lady killer and her son is the most Important thing in this world!"

The actions, absolutely heroic. The motives...questionable. Well, it doesn't really matter how that young lady convinced him of this but hey, it's another kid saved and another job's well done.

"...uhuh"

*ringgg ringgg*

"Hello? Kimi-chan?"

"Aannghhh~~ it's onii-chan! Is thwere swomething ywou wanted? Would you like to eat dinner? Or take a bath maybe? Soretomo... wa~ ta~-"

"I would like a shower please. Anyways, please tell the illustrator that they can draw the nude Bomi and please, don't harm anyone, okay, Kimi-chan? I really care that you don't get a harsh sentence"

"Aannghhh~~ yaaadaaa~ i-if you kweep t-talking to m-me wike dat I-I-I....I can't cwontrol myswelf! Nyaaaa~~ wan wan!"

"Please do wait for a while before you lose control"
