Yu Bai sits on the toilet seat while looking a bit depressed. He was disappointed in himself for being too weak and was not able to control himself. In his mind, the scene where that beautiful face is lying in his arms is playing over and over in his mind.
He truly wanted to bang his head to forget about that scene but he could not. It was too enticing, alluring, and seductive.
He could not deny the fact that Ma Liling is truly beautiful, in fact, the most beautiful woman he has seen in his life.
"No… No… I must forget about what happened… But how?" Yu Bai muttered.
Then he looks at his hand and he noticed that he is actually holding his phone. It seems that because of his habit, he has grabbed his phone before entering the bathroom.
He then decided to call Ma Mian.
Ring... Ring…
It did not take long before the call was picked up. Then he heard a lazy voice on the other end of the line.
'Hello… Bai… You called.' Ma Mian answered as if she has just woken up.
Yu Bai felt sorry for waking his wife but he has no other option. He wanted to hear her voice to calm his heart down.
"Mian… Are you already asleep? Sorry for waking you up…" Yu Bai asked.
'It's okay.'
"I… I missed you so much."
Ma Liling inside the room showed a faint smile on her beautiful face upon hearing that. She too missed him, and she already got her dose of loving kiss from him. But what happened a while ago made her feel sorry for her husband.
She knew that what just happened would be heavy in his conscience. In their relationship online, she has a bit of an understanding towards her husband. She knew that what had happened is very heavy for him to carry, and the reason why he is calling right now is to make himself feel assured of her presence in his life.
'Bai… I missed you too, so very much. Mwah!' she said while a little chuckle.
Hearing her words made Yu Bai feels a bit calm. But he still could not erase what had happened a while ago.
The two talked for a while before they hang up. After talking to Ma Mian on the phone, Yu Bai seems to have calmed down his emotion about what had happened with Ma Liling and him. Though he still can't get her face out of his mind, his heart already feels calm.
As Yu Bai slumbers, Ma Liling could not help but once again tip-toes out of the room and peek on her husband.
Seeing that he is able to sleep now, she feels her emotion also calming down.
"I'm so sorry, Bai. Because of my selfishness of wanting to at least live with you with my bare face, I feel like I have tricked you… and hurt you." she thought as she turns around and return to the room.

The next day, Yu Bai woke up early as he did not want to meet with Ma Liling. He dare not say anything about what had happened last night.
He just prepares her breakfast and then went inside the room to get his change of clothes.
After that, he went to work very early.
When he left, Ma Liling woke up and slowly peeks outside of the door. Seeing that Yu Bai seems to have left and has already prepared food for her, she was really touched. Her husband is really a gentleman. And it seems that he was not angry about what happened yesterday.
Ma Liling eats breakfast and takes her time in the house. Then she left and return to the company.
Today she has decided to return back everything to normal. She was really bothered by Yu Bai's reaction and the words he said to her last night. It seems that he truly missed her too much and has been holding back for a while now.
Upon thinking of what the two of them will do later tonight, she feels a bit excited and worried at the same time.
"Gosh… I feel like it's my first time to be with him…" she muttered while patting her cheeks.
Upon arriving in the company, she suddenly received a call from Choi Hao.
"Hello! Hao… you've called?"
'Umm… I'm just wondering if you have time tonight. Can I invite you to have dinner with me?'
"Hmm… That's a bit difficult. I have some plans for tonight, mind if I take a rain check on that dinner?"
'Ahh… that's too bad. Okay, I'll hold you on that… Hehe… See you, bye!'
"Bye, bye!" Ma Mian dropped the call and a slight smile appears on her face.
Suddenly a tall person wearing a light pink suit appears beside her.
"Who was that? You seem happy?" It's George Lang showing a teasing smile on his face.
"Hi, George! I missed you… I was really busy working with Yu Qi this week…"
The two hugged each other as close friends and those who saw this, look at Ma Mian with their jealous eyes.
Who would not be jealous of her? George Lang is a very famous personality in the company and outside. Those who are close to him would surely rise in their careers. So seeing that the two are acting like really close friends made many who are waiting for the elevator feel jealous.
"Who is she?" one of the women in the crowd asked in a hushed tone.
"I don't know, I haven't seen her before. I mean, with a bad sense of fashion like that, it's hard not to remember her. Hihi…"
"I know right? Look at her… and those clothes…"
Although the women are talking in a hushed tone, George and Mian can still hear them.
George Lang wanted to reach, but Ma Mian held him back.
"I don't mind…" she said with a sweet smile.
"Sigh… When you smile like that, even when you cover up, it still takes my breath away." George Lang said and the two giggled.
Their action made everyone waiting feel helpless. It seems that the two are really close and seem to know each other for a long time. So those who talk behind Ma Mian's back kept their silence.
