While on the road Yu Bai's thoughts are running wild. He is not sure if Ma Mian is truly fine. Though he saw the picture of Yu Qi their picture is not proof enough that she is fine.
In the caption, she said that it was the set of the drama production, but he still to make sure of his doubts.
And so Yu Bai traveled to the outskirts of the city.
Meanwhile, Ma Mian and Yu Qi are currently inside a trailer as Ma Mian prepares Yu Qi's costume and makeup. As soon as they came out a handsome man greeted the two.
This man is Jin Da Lin and he is holding two iced coffee in his hand.
"Hi, you're done changing… Wow, you've truly grown into a gorgeous young woman." Jin Da Lin praised while showing his handsome smile.
Yu Qi blushed a little and nodded her head while reaching out her hand. The expression of Jin Da Lin was a bit confused as he did not know what she meant by her action.
"Uncle… Coffee… One is for me, right?" Yu Qi said with a slight giggle.
"Oh… oh right, I forgot. Gezzz… And this one is for Miss Mian. Thank you for taking care of our dear Yu Qi and also as my apology for what happened last time."
"Oh… No, no… Mr. Jin should not have bothered yourself with these trivial matters." Ma Mian said with a shy smile.
"No… I'm really sorry for what had happened. I just hope that you girls would not look at Tang Arjin badly… she is just like that." he said with an apologetic look.
While the three are talking, someone is watching them with an annoyed expression on her face. Tang Arjin discovered what had happened to those people she paid to teach those girls a lesson. But she could not find out more information about what had really happened that night.
So she just decided to lay low for a while. However, upon seeing the happy conversation of Jin Da Lin with those two women, her jealousy suddenly erupted. Though she did not know why she seems to be jealous of every woman that approaches Jin Da Lin. She wanted them to disappear in front of him, but she also did not want to accept his feelings for her.
Both of them are in their 30's but she thinks that she has not reached the pinnacle of her career. She wanted him to wait for her, to not approach any women while waiting for her until she has gained what she wanted in the end.
She is that kind of person and that is what she really wanted.
So seeing that he is talking with those two women again made her blood boil and her mind filled with rage.
"Miss Tang… We cannot cause any commotion in this place, this is an open space, so…" her assistant suddenly reminded her as the assistant seem to have noticed her gaze.
"Humph…" Tang Arjin grumbled as she snobbishly shifted her gaze.
After talking to the two women, Jin Da Lin walks to Tang Arjin and saw her having that look again. He could not help but heave a deep sigh. He is truly at a loss right now. He did not know if what he is doing is effective or not, or that she also has feelings for him.
She might look jealous, but Jin Da Lin knew that it is not, this is just her possessiveness kicking in.
He could not even understand himself at this time. This is because no matter how this woman acts, he could not help but still fell for her charms and love her more.
And so he just stood there like a block of stone waiting for Tang Arjin to turn her attention towards him.
It did not take long before the shooting was finished and once again Tang Arjin's plan to sabotage Yu Qi ended up in a failure.
The director could not help but give Yu Qi some praise for nailing her role.
Meanwhile, Tang Arjin is now really angry at Ma Mian. She knew that this makeup artist/ manager of Yu Qi is the reason why that Yu Qi was able to escape her pressure.
So when the set ended, she suddenly approached Ma Mian when she saw the girl going to the bathroom.
In that area, there are not so many people passing by and her assistant blocks the path to prevent others from disturbing Tang Arjin.
When Ma Mian walks out of the cubicle, she saw the beautiful Tang Arjin standing in front of her.
"My plan has failed because of you. It was all your fault for helping the bitch Yu Qi… Since you have crossed me, then I should teach you a lesson." Tang Arjin said as she suddenly bared her sharp fingernails and tried to scratch Ma Mian's face.
But who is Ma Mian? How could she just let anyone hit her face which is one of her assets as Ma Liling?
So with a quick reflex, she took a step back.
But it seems that Tang Arjin was expecting this and she changes her hand's direction.
But she still was not able to hit her face. Instead, Tang Arjin hit her thick glasses.
Crash!
Ma Mian's glasses were thrown to the floor with great force and shattered. This has caused Ma Mian and Tang Arjin to suddenly stop in their tracks.
Tang Arjin was stunned to see Ma Mian's face and Ma Mian was stunned to see her glasses broken. Though she did not necessarily need to wear the glasses, yet it has already grown on her. She kind of liked that pair of glasses, but now seeing that it was shattered and her heart feels a bit sad.
However, Tang Arjin was stunned because she realized that this woman is actually not that ugly. Her clear eyes are shining like the moon which can make one feel dreamy.
She saw the same eyes before which she would never forget in her entire life, it was from Ma Liling.
But before the two could say anything else, a figure suddenly appears from the bathroom door.
The tall man suddenly strode forward and reaches out his hands forward.
The two women were stunned and did not know what to do as the man enters the women's room.
