Kapitel 5: Adventurers
Location: Mt. Esval
A group of strangers came to the bandits' base when Al and his friends were trying to save the two girls from the bandits. Al was currently unable to move due to an attack from Damian, the boss of the bandits. However, a mysterious man arrives and fights Damian alone. Al and the girl who were there could only watch Damian and the man fight.
"Shit. Sword Skill: Thousand Slash! " Damian tried to attack the man.
"Assassination: Smokescreen," the man used smoke to hide his presence.
"Damn it! Stop using this useless skill and fight me!" Damian was furious that the man continued to use the same skill to avoid his attacks.
"Then, Assassination: Flash Cut!" the man slashed Damian from behind.
"Urgh! Damn it! You sneakily attacked me," said Damian who was stabbed.
'(Amazing. He can handle Damian so easily)' thought Al who could only watch Damian and that guy fight.
"Sorry. I am an assassin. So that is my way of attacking," said the man.
"Damn it. Then I will destroy all of you with my skills. Sword Skill: Tornado Slash!" Damian created a tornado in the room and made everyone who was there feel the slash from the rapidly rotating wind.
"Aargh!" Al screamed because he was hit by the tornado.
"Are you okay?" the girl approached Al to try to protect him.
"Y-you..." Al was surprised to see the girl protecting him.
"Your attack is pretty good. But my attack is stronger. Assassination: Hell Death!" the man attacked Damian with two burning knives from behind.
"Aaargh!" Damian was stabbed from behind.
"With this, our battle is finished," the man whispered to Damian.
"D-damn it," said Damian before he passed out.
'(He beat Damian in one strike?!)' thought Al in surprise to see the man beat Damian.
The man picked up Damian to take him away. However, before he left, the man glanced at Al and the girl beside him.
"I have no business with you. You have to get out of this cave with your strength," said the man before he left Al and the girl.
"Are you okay?" asked the girl.
"Shit! I can't beat that bandit. I failed," Al was annoyed that he failed to beat the bandits.
The girl was just watching Al annoyed and gave a smile.
"Thank you," said the girl.
Al was surprised to hear the girl's words and then looked at her.
"Sorry. I can't save you," said Al.
"Thank you," the girl hugged Al who was lying because he could not move.
Al was surprised that the girl hugged him and made Al blushed.
"You're the first to come to save me. I'm very grateful," said the girl.
Al was silent listening to the girl's words.
"Serena!" shouted Aqua, who came with Leo and the others calling the girl named Serena.
Instantly everyone was surprised to see the girl named Serena hugging Al.
"Ah! it's not what you think!" Serena was surprised that everyone suddenly came to their place.
"Al!" Lia is a little jealous to see Al hugging Serena.
"Hey! How dare you hug a girl while we are fighting!" Marc is angry with Al.
"Are you not aware of my current state?" said Al.
"Come on guys. The important thing is that everyone survived," Gray tried to stop his friend.
"Aqua! I'm glad to see you are fine." Serena hugged Aqua.
"Me too. It's nice to see you again," said Aqua.
"Let's get out of this place first," said Gray.
They all left the bandits' base. Outside, the strangers were tying the bandits.
"Do you know who they are?" asked Al.
"They seem to be Adventurers," replied Serena.
"Adventurers?" Gray doesn't know what adventurers are.
"Adventurer is a job that carries out the mission of The Seven Sage," Aqua replied.
"What is The Seven Sage?" asked Marc.
"Looks like you guys didn't get a good education about the royal system," said Aqua.
"Hey! You brat!" shouted a man calling Al and his friends.
"Who is he?" Leo asked.
"He's the one who helped me against Brigit," replied Gray.
"He is Fernand. An Adventurer from The Holy Pheonix Guild. The Guild held by The Seven Sage," Serena replied.
"Hey! I just want to thank you guys for making it easier for us to catch these bandits. Even though we don't need your help at all. Ordinary citizens like you are not trained like us," Fernand mocked Al and his friends.
Al and his friends were a little annoyed by Fernand's words.
"But Miss Azura still wants to thank you guys," said Fernand.
"Hello, my name is Azura. I want to thank you for lightening our work in catching these bandits," said the woman named Azura.
"Lighten up? If only I hadn't stopped Damian from using his skill, one of these kids would have died," said the man behind Azura.
Al is getting annoyed listening to the man.
"Sir Isaac. You shouldn't say that. I apologize for Sir Isaac's words," Azura bowed and apologized.
"Never mind. Fernand, we must immediately bring these bandits to the capital," said Isaac leaving Al and his friends.
"Hey!" Al called Isaac.
"Hm? Do you need anything? But unfortunately, I don't have a cane to help you walk," said Isaac, who knew Al was unable to move due to the previous battle against Damian.
Al was getting angry until he clenched his fists. However, he was unable to speak because he couldn't move at all.
"If there's nothing you want to say, I had to go first to bring these bandits to the capital. I hope we meet again someday," said Isaac.
Isaac, Azura, and Fernand left Al and his friends by bringing the bandits to the capital.
"I hate to say this. But that man named Fernand beat Brigit quickly," said Gray.
"Shit. The woman named Azura was also able to overthrow two bandits with her magic," Leo said.
"Isaac was also able to defeat Damian, the boss of the bandits with one strike," said Al.
"They are much stronger than us," said Gray.
"Don't be gloomy like that," says Serena.
"Yes, you are the ones who saved us," said Aqua.
"We are very grateful to you," said Serena.
Serena and Aqua bowed and thanked Al and his friends for helping them from the bandits.
"In exchange for saving us both, I will heal all of your wounds," said Aqua.
"Then, let's go back to the orphanage. Grandfather must have been very worried about our situation, "said Lia.
They all decided to go back to the orphanage and treat their wounds after the fight.
