The A.I. Chip reported the series of data to Nie Li. Through a comparison, there was a strange spike in his emotional state but a icy liquid spread in his body and his blood flow decreased and Nie Li felt a cooling sensation.
"This again!" Nie Li was a bit helpless, he has in fact, quite successful in suppressing the chaotic thoughts brimming and altering his emotional state through the practice of his cultivation technique but the sudden devouring and utilizing the intense Chaos Qi to breakthrough has some altercations of itself.

Nie Li touched his chest and felt his calm beats, it was in complete contrast with his previous state. Nie Li countenance was calm but his eyes were hiding within themselves a complex contemplation and unreadable emotion.
Within Nie Li's yard, Nie Yu is currently hard at practice. Upon seeing Nie Li, her face had an expression of joy.
"Big brother Nie Li, you're here." Nie Yu hurriedly went up. When she heard noises coming from Nie Li room, she had been constantly worried but she was told by the maids to not worry and stay still.

"Yes. Xiao Yu has been very diligent. The cultivating technique that Big brother Nie Li gave me is really amazing, I'm already 1-star Bronze rank!" Nie Yu's eyes were shining when she looked at Nie Li, filled with worship. In her heart, Nie Li is simply an existence that can achieve anything.
"Impressive, keep working hard. Remember, this is just the start of your journey!" Nie Li lightly smiled, nodding his head. Nie Yu's cultivating speed is still quite good.

Nie Li knows that Nie Yu feels quite lonely all by herself. Although there is the whole family as well as the servants but a little 8 year old girl feels very bored all by her lonesome. He helped them a bit in their cultivation shared a few resources and called them to accompany Nie Yu from time to time. Nie Li won't risk a tragedy to befall on Nie Yu and neither would he allow the infamous good-for-nothing Young Masters of Glory City to taint her personality hence, he requested these two he knows the character off and also is familiar to so, that they would accompany Nie Yu.
At first, Du Ze and Lu Piao wanted nothing from Nie Li for this small favour but after Nie Li pushed various elixir and artifacts their way and helped them achieve greater cultivation speed, they unknowingly were under his debt.
Nie Yu also has cultivation progress similar to them so, they would usually cultivate together and share their thoughts as well as study in the humongous library Nie Li has created in his house.
Nie Li has attained quite a name for himself in the Glory City, he is a renowned scholar and an alchemist genius who also achieved amazing cultivation speed irrespective of his red soul realm. He is considered an intelligent student with knowledge of various languages and has donated a few translated books to the Holy Orchid Institute. He also had a good attitude and heeded the request of others, helping fellow students as well but..
After Nie Li breakthrough to Gold Rank, he took no interest in putting up this facade. He has already sucked Alchemy Association for all its worth and along with his contribution of few slightly improved elixir refining process, and donating a few translated book he isn't indebted by them so, he ignored the competition to pull himself to an elder side and stopped all relationship with the association. Nie Li has also stopped going to Holy Orchid Institute and ignored everyone, He didn't like being a 'model student' then and neither do he like so now.
Nie Li has the power and ability to take care of himself so, he isn't interested to put up any facade. He would rather use his time for his own benefits, Nie Li understood that the only power worth having is the one you have yourself.
Just when Nie Li and Nie Yu were chatting, a knocking sound came from the door.
"What business do you have here?" The guard from Nie Li house asked as they were slightly startled by the uninvited guest. Nie Li has commanded them to not allow any stanger entry, and there is a fix amount of people who are allowed.
Before the guard stood a pair of two experts who emitted strong undulation of Gold Rank, "We are from the City Lord mansion and we are here to take Nie Li with us to meet the City Lord."
They puffed their chest with pride as they imagine the guards to be startled and take them to Nie Li as soon as possible but contrary to their expectations, they guards kept on looking with a guarded expression and had no effect from the revelation.
"What business do you have here? without reason and permission no one is allowed irrespective of who they are! " Unknown to the City Lord mansion
guards, The people on the gate are under Nie Li complete control and have undying loyalty. Nie Li word is the law for them, let alone the guards they won't relent even before an Expert.
"You-!" The City Lord guards were shocked and as they were about to make a scene but before they could, Nie Li's guards immediately heard orders from coming straight from Nie Li and into their heads as they opened up their barred path and opened the gates, "My Lord, has allowed you to enter inside."

A robust man majestically sat on the elevated seat
He's wearing a grey robe with his hair tied to the back. His face was solemn. He had a biting cold aura emitting from him, while, at the same time, having a feeling of prestige around him. He is the City Lord, Ye Zong.
The City Lord, Ye Zong and several Black Gold rank Demon Spiritualists were together, seems to discussing something.
"City Lord, there's news from Lord Ye Mo. Due to the climate change, the growing rate of demon beasts around Glory City is faster compared to previous years. We have to dispatch some people to hunt down those demon spirits to control the amount of demon beasts around Glory City. Otherwise, when those demon beasts grow up, they will be a great threat to our Glory City." One of the Black Gold rank Demon Spiritualists said. He's the number three within the City Lord's Mansion. His name's Ye Xiu. His cultivation is only below Ye Mo and Ye Zong.
Ye Zong was silent for a moment before nodding his head and said, "Yeah, we'll dispatch a portion of the demon spiritualists to hunt down those demon beasts."
"We have to be careful of those people from the Dark Guild, there is also some signs of Dark Guild plotting to drive a Beast Horde" Ye Zong added. If they were to send demon spiritualists outside of the city, there's no guarantee that the Dark Guild won't take any action.
"Aside from this, Lord Ye Mo asked me to bring back one item. Please have a look!" Ye Xiu said, retrieving a book from his interspatial ring, "Lord Ye Mo found this from a very ancient cave. He has no idea what material this is composed of nor the words written on it."
Ye Xiu flipped open the book, and saw exquisite drafts appearing in his sight. It was filled with strange spell-like stuff, it also has pictures of all of the demon spirits.
A mysterious power blew out.
This power was extremely pure. Even Ye Zong did not feel such a pure power before.
"Where was this book obtained from?" Ye Zong's heart was slightly chilled as he looked over the book. He carefully examined it, but couldn't understand the words nor the drawings in the book.
"This was obtained when Lord Ye Mo dived deep into a demon beasts cave and got it from an expert's corpse. According to our speculations, when that expert was still alive, he had already reached the peak of Legend rank." Ye Xiu said. Ye Mo frequently went around exploring, and dive into some extremely dangerous place and inspect the situation outside Glory City. "That cave was too dangerous. Even Lord Ye Mo did not dare to stay for long, and retreated after he obtained this book."
Although he obviously knew that this book is a treasure, he doesn't know how to use this. Naturally, he felt depressed.
Ye Xiu thought of something and said with a little excitement, "Lord Ye Zong, I heard that recently, a genius teen appeared in Glory City that is able to understand some ancient books, and also translated some books. Should we invite that teen over and have him take a look?"
