Blake claps her hand in unison with other freshmen at the hall as her father finishes his endless rantings and boasts. Next, a woman holding the mic calls upon the president of the student council. He's a boy with black hair and perfectly tanned skin who runs up to the stage to introduce himself while showing his bright white teeth from a mischievous smile he flashes.

"He looks like an asshole." The girl beside her says, snickering at the man who explains the student rules and activities in front of them.

"That's very bold of you to say." Blake counters staring at the student sitting beside her.

"He fits the category of an asshole. Polished hair, over-eager smile, tight pants, tailored jacket, and girls shouting at the front." The girl grins willfully over her own witty opinion.
