The storm only snatched half of that place and half of the assets. The cart was fine too but its wheels needed to be fixed.

"Give me ten minutes to adjust them." Raymond required.

I knew that I was the reason behind that slow move. Vampires and werewolves were fast and didn't need to use them.

Elisa took a perfume out of her purse on the skirt. She sprayed it around and then on herself and Lethila.

"What is that?"

I asked out of curiosity.

"Here," she dragged me further and splashed it on me!

No scent streamed out!

"It is fading our scent so the vampires cannot track us."

Necessarily, Victor had many eyes around, and this way she kept them away from us. She had been truly taking care of me and even was teaching her daughter to act like a guardian.
