Kapitel 328: In His Bed

"Tadaima." Her voice was barely audible as she was bone-tired after working till wee hours in the lab but the voice recognition security of her apartment caught her voice and acknowledged her presence in the quiet apartment. 

She kicked her shoes in the foyer and walked to the living room, barefooted. She dropped her purse on the console table along the short hallway to the living room. She unbuttoned her blouse, threw it on the armrest of the couch, dropped her pants, and dove on the couch, face down. 

After a while she got up from the couch, groaning. She felt cold as she was only wearing her underwear. Her apartment air conditioner was on because Lucille likes cold temperatures. She had it set for the kid but now Lucille is already in Berlin but she forgot to reset her air conditioner.
