Kapitel 143: You Can't Avoid Mom Forever

The loser ended up being Jonah, who hadn't bowled since middle school and got near-constant gutter balls. He didn't seem terribly surprised about it either. All he did was rub the back of his neck sheepishly and explain that he was rusty. 

Eden knew he was a competitive person so she was surprised he was able to brush his terrific loss off so easily. Maybe that only applied to games he knew he had a chance at winning though. Or when he was around his family. 

Either way, he lost all three games they bowled and ended up having to buy everyone sandwiches at a nearby sub shop for lunch before they headed back to eat them at their place. They intended to spend the rest of the day watching movies now that Ezra and Nadia knew Jonah was a horror fan. 

"…there are a lot of Christmas decorations here. When are you planning on taking them down?" Ezra asked as he looked around.
