The person who had snatched her parents had come back and taken the beta's mate. She wasn't even scared to show her face to the public anymore. That was something that was unacceptable for Hera.

Gonzalez had been helping her track the falci, but when she had refused to be the vampire king's wife, he let her be for a while, not caring that the falci was threatening the wolf kingdom. This could only mean that they were under two huge threats.
