Kapitel 149: Hot Springs

Serenica had made her men work in a terrible hangover. This had been bad for them. While many were young fellows, the Princess was such a high-value pirate ship that some of the boys were actually grown men over the age of thirty or even forty years, and not even young blokes could work endlessly while hungover. There was an awful lot of complaining considering that no one had been forced to drink.

Still, they had to make a little stop. Ed said that there was an island near them, a place with no significance, as it wasn't known for having gold or silver or anything valuable, and no one lived there. Unsurprisingly, no one in the crew was thrilled to lay anchor in a place like that. Nothing interesting ever happened there, and it had never even been properly named.

When the island occupied a place on the horizon that looked a little bit larger than a gold coin, everyone gasped.

It was perhaps an unvaluable island – if measured in gold and silver.
