Kapitel 2: Chapter 2

"Right, we'll take care of those two Digimon," you decide. You haven't generally defeated much digimon with your own in comparison to others so far, and in general it has left your team while not weak, but not strong either.

You kind of need more power before you can take on any actual high paying jobs. Honestly, you heard that the guy with the Cyberdramon from Hudie raked in a hundred thousand yen easily on most jobs that generally required him to smack down champion's that broke into private servers.

It annoyed you, but you'd had to turn down quite a few high paying jobs simply because you didn't have the fire power needed to take down the digimon causing the problems.

"Right boss," DemiDevimon saluted you with his wing, "You grab my brother and I'll message the client and get the details for his private server."

Sounds good to you. You want to get this done quickly either way, your teacher was getting on at you earlier because you fell asleep in class. The private school you go to, you got in on a scholarship because of your apparent prodigious intelligence and computer skills, but honestly, you would have preferred an easy public school if it weren't for one thing. The school uniform and its short skirt.

There were plenty of pretty girls in your class. Makino for instance filled hers out nicely, not that she didn't fill out her casual clothes nicely either from the few times you saw her outside of school. She definitely inherited a bodacious body from her model mother.

Taking out your visualizer, it looking like a black visor, you plugged it into your computer, setting up the access point, then slipped it over your eyes. With a few practised clicks, your consciousness left your body behind, and you found yourself standing in a white void. Not missing a beat, you swiped your hand and called on your control functions, bringing up the many public areas both from the company running Eden and those hosted by others.

You weren't going to any of those though. Typing in the details, answers to your security prompts and password, you opened up your personal server and entered.

Immediately the white void was replaced by a large island, filled with grass, a small forest area, warm sandy ground, sparkling blue ocean and a mansion that loomed over head watching over everything.

You didn't understand why many people tended to keep their private servers bare. You set yours up so it could be a great place to live for both your current digimon and any ones you would get in the future. It was wide open, with many different habitats and tree's that grew digital food for your digimon. It had taken you a while to get the required data, because there was a hell a lot of it, but it worked out in the end.

Honestly, the hardest part was coding the digital food grown so that it was actually edible and filled your digimon's stomach.

"Boss!" Black Agumon called out, sprinting across the sandy beach towards you, a wide toothy grin on his face, bracer clad arms held high up above his head.

He launched himself at you when he was within jumping distance and you laughed as he caught you around the middle. He nuzzled his large head into your stomach for a moment and you patted him on the head happily.

You kept that up for a few moments before you both separated and the digimon allowed you to load him into your digivice.

"You ready DemiDevimon?" you asked aloud.

There was a crackle in your ears as the headset you kept hanging around your neck flared to life, "Yeah boss, I'm sending you the server information now." DemiDevimon replied. You'd specifically paid more for your visor like visualizer, simply because it allowed you to keep your ears free and connect to your headset so you could talk to your digimon within your digivice more easily.

While you usually had Black Agumon work guard duty, DemiDevimon took up kind of a secretarial like role, monitoring your online accounts, emails and such. You aren't going to lie, ever since you got both digimon, your efficiency as a hacker has more than doubled - even more so when taken into account that having a link to your digimon allowed you to power the three hacking skills you'd accumulated to this point. They both might just be rookies, but the additional processing power your link to them adds to your very mind while online was staggering.

A moment later, red text scrawled across the black visor over your eyes. The default colour had been blue, but light blue was a colour that just hurt your eyes too much if you looked at it too long, so you'd tinkered with the piece of equipment, hacked its functions until you managed to change its default text from light blue to red.

Honestly, why it hadn't been a function in the first place had annoyed you something fierce.

"Here we go boys," You said, knowing your digimon could hear you, "Get ready to fight the second we log into this guys server."

You kept the digivice held tight in one hand, ready to release both your digimon in an instant, and then with your free hand, input the the data needed to jump to the guys private server.

There was a flash as you left your server behind, and appeared within the gate of your client's private server. You stepped out of the glowing green circles and grimaced almost immediately.

A massive, wide open area. Just large, light blue railing for floors all over the place, hanging in the air, surrounded by darkness and gigantic, floating light blue cubes.

"Ugh," you groaned in annoyance. Not only was it such a dreadful colour the place was stupidly designed at that. You hated these kinds of servers, not a creative piece to be found. Heck, there wasn't even anywhere to sit down anywhere in sight.

You gave a cursory glance around you, but found nothing. Well, you didn't really expect them to just hang around at the entrance. Though, there was no way a pair of rookie's could escape a locked gate either, not unless they were maybe a machine based digimon.

Holding your digivice up, you loaded one of your three hacker skills. Stealth, allowing for your body to blend in out of sight, melting into the bright blue colouring all around you. Now near invisible you made your way deeper into the private server.

Ah, if only you had the visualizer hacker skill. But you had already spent a pretty penny on the three you had at the moment, and despite being one of the cheapest pre-made hacker skills out there, it still cost fifty thousand yen. You could probably make the skills yourself, but they're based on digimon and without the data of specific digimon, it was highly improbable you'd get anywhere with it.

And you didn't want to risk messing around with the data of your own digimon too much. Most just thought that the digimon were programs, but you knew differently. They were too, alive, their personalities too vast to be a mere program. They might have started out as a program, a 'mere' artificial intelligence, but they had somehow evolved passed that and gained both sentience and sapience.

Besides, neither of your digimon would have the data needed for the visualizer skill.

It took a bit of walking throughout the area, for a few minutes at least, but honestly it didn't take you all that long to find the two digimon. How could it? There were literally no spaces to hide in this sever, just railing platforms, and unless they jumped into the void surrounding the server, there would be nowhere else for them to go.

Both Betamon, an aquatic based digimon

And ToyAgumon, a machine type digimon you think.

It might be interesting to get your hands on the Betamon. You know the main line they can digivolve into is the Seadramon line, and a large aquatic digimon like Seadramon might be a big help. Granted, it could digivovle into any number of paths.

Either way, thanks to your stealth skill, they haven't noticed you yet.
