I walked into my condo, my head still pounding.
Will it ever stop?
"Where were you last night?" I looked up to see my best friend and sister,Havana, glaring daggers at me with arms folded. I totally forgot I had called her before going to the club
"I...I....I....I went to a club" I stammered
"In the condition you were in?" She asked eyes wide open
Hold on, I thought the club was solitude to the heartbroken people?
"Why didn't you tell me? I was extremely worried, different thoughts filled my head this morning. I was this close to filing a missing person report" Havana screamed
"I'm sorry Ava, I wasn't thinking straight. I even made the worst mistake I could ever think of"
"Which is?"
"I got laid" She gasped, and I hung my head in shame
Who on earth gets laid just after getting dumped?
She raised my head so I looking into her eyes and boy I didn't expect what I saw in there
"Are you serious?" Those gray orbs twinkled with excitement
"Would I lie about something that big?" I have no idea what it was, either super fast reflexes or a sense of déjà vu but my palm were already on my ears before Ava let out a ear deafening and glass shattering scream. At times like this I can't help but remember my aunt, Moon

"OMGGGGGG" She held me by my bicep, spinning the both of us around, making my headache come in with full force. Do elephants relocate? I can swear there's a family in my head "I'm so happy for you"

When I finally trusted my self enough to be able to see properly, I sat down on the sofa before staring at Ava who was bouncing on her toes bubbling with excitement
"I'm feeling guilty here and you're celebrating"
"And why are you feeling guilty, Louis broke up with you, you guys are done, so what's holding you up?"
"What if he comes back Ava? And he finds out I cheat on him with some stranger, he'll never love me. He'll leave me for ever" I panicked. Louis is- was my boyfriend, he broke up with me last night because I slapped his sister. That sneaky devil has been trying to break us up. I never retaliate but yesterday, she was a complete devil. She even said I was useless that all I knew how to do was give Louis money and can't even satisfy him in bed, so I slapped her because she was being an ungrateful bitch. This same money I give to him is what made her complete her education, I dont mean to brag and I know her brother doesn't tell her anything that involves to his personal life but even though she was taunting me, it struck a nerve.
She snapped "He never loved you, get that into your skull. He only uses you for the money. You are just some pathetic side chick he'll come to whenever he's in trouble"
Y"ou also think I'm pathetic🥺?? Tears welled up in my eyes
"No" She sat on the sofa and hugged me tightly "I would never think you are pathetic. That's what he thinks. You're amazing Rianna, any guy will be lucky to have you. You deserve someone better than him, someone who will love and cherish you, not because of the money you have, or because they want to satisfy their raging hormones, but because you are you" She said with so much warmness and comfort.
I placed my head on her chest "Why aren't you a guy?? I'll date you in a heartbeat"
She laughed loudly "I love being a lady, the guys tend to do all the work, I can't handle that''
I frowned in confusion then the understanding of what she said dawned on me ''Ew gross.'' I scrambled away from her
''Prude!!" She said "So how was it?" She wiggled her brows, and I blushed "Omigosh, you're blushing. You didn't blush when you were with A-hole Louis, looks like this guy is creeping into your heart without trying."
I smacked her arm " Of course i did" Louis always made me happy, I don't know why Ava doesn't like him "Besides I just got dumped, why would I want to be in a relationship so soon?"
She shrugged "Eh. One man's dumping ground is another man's comfort zone"
I rolled my eyes at her stupid proverb
"So what's was it like?" She asked again
"I dont remember much from last night, but with the way he appeared, the way he talked about it. I'm sure it was a very steamy night. He said I was wild and loud" I blushed harder, hiding my face between my hands.
"I'm in love. I never knew you had this side of you. Well thank you Mr mysterious, for giving my bestie the best night of her life" She knelt and raised her hands like someone receiving anointing "So when are you guys meeting again?"
"No, we are never meeting again" I said in shock
"Huh? So you'll let him go just like that?' I nodded "Are you kidding me?"
"No, all he wants is the.....you know. He even thought I was a call girl" She oohed
"I'm so tired" I yawned as I grabbed the remote then switched on the TV "And hungry too" I walked to the kitchen and grabbed myself a packet of chips and cold soda, I have a weird appetite.
Havana screamed, making drop my breakfast rushing to the living room, I saw her pointing at the TV "My crush is on the television"
I rolled my eyes 'Is that why you screamed like you were being kidnapped?"
"Isn't this worth screaming for?? He's so handsome" She sighed
I looked at the screen and was staring back at the black orbs that have being tormenting me ever since I got home
"Havana, who is this?"
"That's the youngest billionaire in all of California"
"You're kidding right?" I chuckled nervously
"No, I'm not. You never notice him because you're always working and too stuck up with Louis"
"Oh my gosh" My hands flew to my mouth
"What is it?"
"He's the guy I slept with😱😱"
Havana looked at me for a few seconds before throwing her head back laughing "What's so funny?" I asked confused
"I understand. Anyone would want Mason for themselves, I mean he is everything a lady could ever dream of"
This weirdo doesn't even believe me "You have to believe me Ava, he's the one" I said pointing to the TV, but before she could say anything the anchor spoke

"Good morning to you California, I hope you had a wonderful night?" He smirked
"Oh we did. How about you tell us how yours was?"
"Oh it was hot, steamy and passionate" Oh no! He just had to go and shamelessly talk about his night

They bursted out laughing "I wouldn't call it that. I had a very bad day and i needed a stress reliever" Stress reliever!! Is he crazy?

"Now this hunt is limited. A week from now is the deadline, if you can't find her before then, the hunt will be closed but by then she'll have no choice but to come to me herself"
