Kapitel 142: Million Dollar Plan

David flips the fifty cents coin between his fingers as he was sitting in his small office room that was also his home, bitter-sweet home. 

He looks around the place. It is a place he bought with Sabrina's money, a place he tried to start a career with and during which he also fell oblivious of her feelings. 

Clutching the coin tightly in his fist, he was adamant to make things work again after he had received the call yesterday. He was taking every possible step beforehand to avoid the risk and he just hopes that the opportunity that popped up this time... is legit. 

'Ring! Ring!' 

David's phone starts ringing and he picks it up on the second ring before placing it against his ear. "Hello?" He speaks, inquisitively and listens to the speaker on the other end. "Yes... Uhuh... Thank you so much! Yes, thank you!" David hangs up the phone and unconsciously he had stood up from his seat.
