Kapitel 113: I love you

He swallowed and took a step closer to me. I could see the worry in his eyes. I just looked at him. I wonder if he would finally be sincere to me or he was going to tell me another lie.

"Wait how would I know if he is lying?" I asked myself. He took my hands and repeated what he told me earlier while I was acting like I was sleeping.

"so you spent your whole afternoon with your ex and daughter?" I asked. I wanted to ask if they felt like a complete family when they eat lunch together but I bit my tongue to stop myself. Honestly, I was not willing to hear the answer.

What if he tells me yes. Ray swallowed hard again and took my right hand into his. "I spent my time with Sharon. Her mother was only there because it was the first time. Once Sharon gets used to our new relationship her presence will no longer be needed," he explained with a calm voice.
