"It's not like he didn't have it coming. The guy is annoying. You should know that"

Isabella knew, she thought, remembering that she had disliked him immediately when she first met him at the bar. Now she understood why he had told her not to call the cops and now she was glad she didn't. They wouldn't have stood a chance against a vampire and if they had gone, they would have come back seriously Hurt. Or maybe even worse.
