Kapitel 13: Chapter 13: Poacher

“How big exactly is this place? And why do you have so many books here?”

Aimee and Kai were walking one beside the other, heading to the cafeteria, as recommended by Aimee.

“Why? Isn’t it natural to invest in your hobby?”

“It is, but that…”

“It’s here,” Aimee said as they reached the end of the corridor they were in.

The room which Aimee called cafeteria was a small, semi-circular shaped room with a grid door which led to a balcony with more tables. There were round metal tables and a counter, behind which there was a kitchen.

“What would you like, mistress?”

“Macchiato. But with little foam. And please, use robusta. I need the energy.”

“What about you, sir?”

“I… Coffee, I guess?” ‘I don’t know what half these words mean…’ Kai thought embarrassed.

Aimee and Kai sat on a table near the grid door, which was locked at the time. It was raining heavily on the outside.

“This place… Has a lot of resemblance with some kind of school, to be honest.” Kai observed.
