“Was that an intruder?” A member of the gang asked, and AJ narrowed his eyes. He was not expecting the boss to dodge the attack. They looked around and he tried again, by throwing the darts before moving around again.
“Everyone, get into positions! It seems we have an intruder, probably from the Royal Bloods.” Another person yelled, while everyone was freaking out and looking for AJ, Ido and Tomas used this chance to attack some people. They made themselves known, while AJ focused on the boss.
The boss was seething in anger since they couldn’t find the one who had thrown the darts.
“THERE HAS TO BE AT LEAST THREE OF THEM! LOOK FOR THE TH~” Just like that, his throat was slit. AJ was hanging upside and had used his knife. Everything went silent as they stared at their boss with wide eyes before their eyes turned to the upside-down AJ. Tomas saw how smoothly that had happened as well as the newbie. Ido missed it, and it was almost beautiful though terrifying. It was the only way to describe it.
“That bastard killed him!” Some came running towards AJ but AJ unconnected his legs from the railing and landed on his feet. He pushed the guy who was frozen in place away and dodged the attacks.
“Dude, you have to fight if you want to get out of this alive.” AJ snapped as the newbie froze. He shook his head sighing before grabbing his gun and tossed it to the newbie.
“Use this.” He said and the newbie caught it. He looked at it before firing at some of the enemies. He wasn’t as skilled as Ido, Tomas or AJ was but he got some of the enemies down.
“What is your name?” AJ asked the newbie.
“Tyler.”
“Well Tyler, aim to kill because they have every intention of killing us. I am AJ by the way.” AJ said, punching someone’s face before grabbing his darts out of the boss. Tyler began shooting again, but AJ could tell he had never held a gun before. It made him wonder why the big boss had a newbie with no experience join. He would never know, but he had to focus on the current mission.
AJ glanced and saw someone about to attack Tomas, so he threw his darts getting the guy in the neck. Tomas turned to look at the enemy then at AJ.
“Thanks babe~”
“No problem.”
“Babe?” Tyler asked and Ido piped in.
“The two are absolutely disgusting and dating each other. They can’t keep their romance to themselves.”
“You can’t stay out of our room, when we are alone.” Tomas threw in and Tyler sweat dropped.
“You will get used to the random bickering during a life-or-death fight…” AJ said as if it was no big deal.
“I doubt it but okay. Anyway, they have something in the basement that would be interesting. After this we should get it, but it's heavily guarded.”
“What is it?” Ido asked as he elbowed someone in the throat and AJ glanced at Tyler curiously.
“I don’t know, but they are super excited about it. So, I think it’s worth checking out.” He said and the three nodded their heads.
“After we deal with this we should head to the basement.”
“I will lead you there.” He said and AJ punched someone in the jaw sending them flying. The fight was rather long, since there were many people. The commotion could be heard throughout the entire hideout. So of course, it alerted every single person in there. Not that it was a surprise, though AJ was sure there were more people stationed elsewhere that refused to leave their post.
Once they handled the people on the first floor, they took a moment to catch their breaths. All of them except AJ were tired, and Tyler was impressed that he wasn’t even breathing hard.
“What are you? How are you not even breathing hard?”
“He does this sort of thing way too often. The three of us are elite members, but AJ is the top elite person in the gang. Right underneath the big boss.” Ido said and Tyler’s eyes widened in shock.
“He is that strong?”
“Yep, guess his age?” Tomas said and Tyler looked AJ up and down. AJ didn’t care about the conversation and was collecting his darts.
“I don’t know, maybe twenty-four years old?”
“Not a chance, he is nineteen-years old.”
“Wait seriously!?” Tyler quickly looked at AJ who was looking at them confused.
“Seriously what?”
“Another person thought you were older than you really are…” Ido said laughing and AJ just shrugged his shoulders not really caring.
“Oh. I am used to it at this point, not that it matters or anything.” AJ said and Tomas shook his head slightly.
“He can be very tsundere, give him time. He opens up very slowly to people.”
“I guess that makes sense, if he is as strong as you say and an assassin. Which no lies there, the way he moves proves he is a skillful assassin.”
“Yeah, seeing him actually kill was our first time.” Ido admitted and AJ only shrugged his shoulders.
“Am I going to always be the topic of the conversation? Or are we going to get this mission done?” He asked, rolling his eyes and everyone besides Tomas sweat dropped.
“Right… follow me…” He said before stopping and looking at them.
“When I was down there, there were A LOT of guards, and explosives down there. So, everyone be careful.” Tyler said.
“Oh yeah, I am Tomas…”
“Ido…” The two completely forgot to introduce themselves.
“I am Tyler, though that’s kind of a late introduction. Don’t cha think?” He asked tilting his head slightly.
“It happens…” Tomas said with a smile and Tyler sweat dropped. He began to wonder why Tomas was always smiling, and energetic. He shook his head before leading the three downstairs. They stayed quiet making sure to not cause any more attention to themselves. AJ, behind everyone making sure no one came up behind them as Tyler led.
The hideout was rather weird, completely different than theirs. Once they reached the bottom they heard talking. They looked around and realized there was nowhere to hide. So, they went with plan B. Kill them silently. Well, that was AJ’s plan B the others were planning to just knock them out.
“AJ, no need to kill everyone.” Tomas scolded quietly and AJ looked at him.
“You do realize that’s what I do right?”
“Yeah, but not around me. You killed way too many people today.”
“Whatever…” He said and knocked down the guards that were guarding down there.
“You are really asking for it,”
“Sorry.”
