Diamant stood calmly in her stead, watching him, her hand had subconsciously driven beneath the slit of her gown, by her thigh, where her dagger should be but wasn't.
She missed it.
Ever since the revolution night, which was her wedding night to Aaron, she hadn't been able to find it no matter where she searched. She had been planning to get a new one but had been to busy to do so.
He took back his sword immediately, putting it back in his scabbard while bowing in greeting and apology.
"You should be celebrating." She said, picking up a scroll, taking a look at what he had been so focused on a moment ealier. "It is good that Alusa has people like you but you should know that we are trying to keep you, not lose you by allowing you to work yourself to death."
When he said nothing, she pressed. "Well?"
"Work is... Interesting."
Diamant smiled, it was obvious he was for the same reason that she was here, to distract herself with work.
