As he traveled with Leaf and Esdeath, Death enjoyed occasionally flirting with Leaf, who eventually stopped complaining and seemed pretty happy about it, because he was giving her so much attention in spite of Esdeath being present, who she thought was way more beautiful then she was. Eventually, Leaf even started occasionally taking the initiative to touch Death's hand, though her shyness always made her pull back in a hurry.
Feeling lucky, he pulled out a Luck-Enhancing Ofuda and attached it to his forehead while activating his Other World Roulette Spins. He only had received one of these charm papers from a quest for defeating one of the many ancient grimm of Remnant, and it only lasted for one minute, but now that he had Arc of Embodiment, he had made many copies of it.
"What are you doing?" Leaf asked as she looked at the piece of paper on his forehead with curiosity.
Death smiled at Leaf as the first roulette finished.

Fairy Sword Trazayuya
This double-edged bastard sword was forged by Dohal the Dwarf and Satou Pendragon. This magic weapon is made out of mithril and is enchanted to resist attempts at disarming made against the wielder of this weapon. As a weapon made of mithril, it weighs about 30% less then an iron weapon of similar shape and form, but it can absorb magic easily to increase it's weight and power. It can also unleash the stored up magical power in one terrifying burst attack. Possesses the Indestructible trait.
------
"It's called an Ofuda." Death told to Leaf cheerfully "This one enhances luck, though only for one minute. I was just feeling lucky since such a beautiful girl like you is falling in love with me. Even though you are still too shy to admit it out loud."
"Maybe...I am..." Leaf admitted shying, puffing out her reddened cheeks "Only a little bit, though, so don't get a big head about it."
"It seems that it worked, since you finally admitted it." Death answered with a smirk as the second roulette finished.
------
Time-Stop Watch
This 'watch' was created me a particularly wretched demon god. Because his try appearance would drive most mortals into a vegetative state, he typically appears as a beautiful woman wearing a dark cloak that hides most of 'her' features. He appears in this form to hand the Time-Stop Watch to wretched souls and lets them abuse it's powers while gradually consuming their soul.
WARNING : This item is dangerous to host. Would you like to exchange it for two Other World Roulette Spins?
------
The Time-Stop Watch may have had an interesting power, but the whole gradually consuming his soul thing made it unappealing, so he of course chose to accept the offered exchange in his head

Epic Rod of Resurrection (Soul-bound on use)
This 1-foot-long rod is made of silver that glows dimly with white light. Etched into the rod is a detailed scene; when dipped in ink and rolled onto canvas, it shows a beautiful, middle-aged woman tending to the sick and wounded that lie around a large hearth. The rod of resurrection has 10 small gems at the top that glow with stored power. While holding it, you can expend stored energy of 1 or more of its gems to cast one of the following spells from it, Heal (1 gem per spell), restoration (2 gems), Mass Heal (5 gems), True Resurrection (7 gems). The rod recharges daily at dawn.

Other World Ability (Lucky Roll) : Card Evocation and Duel Spirit Bond
Card Evocation
This ability lets the user materialize into the real world monsters or the effects of spell or trap Duel Monsters cards. Use of this ability requires at least Great magic potential.
Warning : Hosts body currently has Intermediate magic potential. The scale goes Lesser, Intermediate, Great, Master, Grandmaster, Ascension, and Divine. Analysis suggests that if host obtains a Cetra form his magical potential can rise to Master level.
Duel Spirit Bond
The one who possesses this ability can see, speak too, interact with, and form metaphysical bonds with Duel Spirits from Duel Monster cards.
Warning : Though Arc of Embodiment can create Duel Monster cards, the cards made using this skill will not possess Duel Spirits.

Death felt relieved, that the luck Ofuda had worked well, and both of the items seemed to be amazing from their descriptions, and he even got two abilities. The items probably wouldn't be of much use for the moment in this world, but in future worlds they would certainly get much more use and would be much more utilized. The abilities, though, needed some experimentation.
Though copying the luck Ofuda was a bit mentally exhausting, it seemed to be worth doing as long as he used them sparingly, and he had gotten a slight admission from Leaf as well out of it, which he could also appreciate.
The rest of the trip was uneventful. They moved at Leaf's pace, so they arrived at Bill's lighthouse after three days. It would take Ash much longer to get here, due to him getting lost all the time, if the plot went as intended. Death already had a body double discretely following that piece of shit named Damian for when he abandon's his Charmander, just in case Ash doesn't show up to save the day. Death did not want the poor little guy to die because his horrible trainer left him alone in the rain. Death's priority, though, was to train more and to prepare himself and Leaf for the Vermilion City gym and beyond.
"You said we were going to a place to train a while before going to Vermillion City, but why a lighthouse?" Leaf asked as she spotted the lighthouse in the distance that they were heading towards.
"A Pokémon researcher named Bill is living there." Death told Leaf and chuckled "This is a good opportunity for you to meet another really important person here in Kanto. I mean, when I eventually leave this world, you are welcome to join me, but since you haven't reached a decision yet, I want you to have all the opportunities open to you that are possible. If you don't become my wife, you should still have a happy and fulfilling life."
Leaf blushed and looked away from him "Th...thank you..." she said timidly.
"You are worthy of the effort. even if you choose not to follow me in the future, we will at least always be friends." Death insisted.
"Would a friend really pinch my butt though?" Leaf pointed out and giggled..
Death chuckled and was happy that he was giggling about that nowadays. She had brought it up a lot in the past few days, but her tone never seemed accusing when she did, and he always answered the same way.
"Normally I wouldn't be that assertive, but I felt like you needed a small nudge. You wouldn't have considered romantic possibilities for a long time if I didn't, because you were too shy to admit your attraction even to yourself." Death answered again, and she once again nodded in agreement, well aware that he was right, and that she might have really regretted her inaction if she had let him leave without exploring these feelings of hers.
She still found it awkward that he had 20 wives, but he seemed like such a great guy.
"Before I make any decision I'll have to meet all of your wives." Leaf suddenly declared "If I were to end up marrying you, I would essentially be marrying into their family's well. It wouldn't do if they hated me."
Death chuckled "Oh, they will definitely love you, Leaf, but your request is understandable, so I'll arrange it anyway. You'll see when you meet them." in fact, he was excited to let Leaf meet them, because he knew his wives would definitely be extremely welcoming to a new sister. Especially one whose absurd purity rivaled Ruby's. He knew Ruby would especially feel a kinship with Leaf.
Meeting Ruby might actually by beneficial in another way "You know, I think you'll be especially close with my wife Ruby. Your personality is so much like hers, and she was my first crush when I was really young, and I still love her immensely. All my wives have a place in my heart that can never be taken away, but the first love is a very special thing."
"And your point?" Leaf asked.
"Well, you seemed self-conscious about your breasts, but Ruby's breasts are 34 B-Cup, and I still wouldn't change a thing about her. To me, Ruby is absolutely perfect as she is. Heck, my beloved Weiss even has 26 Double-A cup breasts and I love her immensely, and I still think she's perfect as she is and I'd never want her to change, so with me you really don't have to worry about your breasts being too small. I have no preference for large or small breasts. What's in your heart in what truly matters to me."
"Really? Double-A?" Leaf was genuinely surprised.
(ooc-note to people thinking that Weiss grew larger breasts in later seasons, that she entered into a relationship with Death in period of volume one and stopped aging, thus she never got that period of chest growth from the show. Only Ruby, who was younger at that time, continued aging until she was also 17 years old.)
"Yes, and when you meet her Weiss will definitely be able to tell you now much we love each other. She has long gotten over any feelings of inadequacy she once had over the size of her breasts because she knows that I love her as she is, and that I'll always love her." Death insisted "I'll arrange a time for everyone to be back together and bring you to meet the whole family."
Leaf nodded and took the hint that they would talk about it more later. They were approaching the lighthouse and this probably wasn't a conversation to have in front of this Bill guy.
Death rang the bell next to the huge door that depicted many Pokémon and started checking out his shop while waiting for someone to answer. His system shop had a new section for Duel Monsters cards.

The doorbell was quite loud but Death paid it no mind as he focused on browsing his shop and making those purchases, he was fairly low on shop points again,, with barely over 10,000 remaining after the purchase, but he figured it was a good start to a future Blue-Eyes White Dragon Deck.
Other decks might be better, but Seto Kaiba was such a dick that Death thought he'd make a Blue-eyes deck to spite him. He randomly added a bunch of other Blue-Eyes related cards to his Wishlist to purchase later. Also Trade-In and Monster Reborn were included as well.

He would have started adding more, but a young man opened the door and looked at the three of them "Why hello. Are you lost or something?
"No, we're not lost. Master came to see someone named Bill." Esdeath spoke up, after being silent for quite a while.
"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you, Bill." Death chuckled and patted Esdeath's head "We were going to take some time to train before going to Vermillion City for our next gym battle's, and I felt like seeing you might be a useful experience, and that we might also learn somethings. And by all of us, that may very well include you."
"Oh, you think you might be able to teach me something?" Bill seemed genuinely ammused "You have me curious now."
"I have studied some Clefairy and Clefable, and come to the conclusion that whoever called them normal type Pokémon were wrong. They are something else. Since Clefairy was the first Pokémon I encountered with this typing, I've called it Fairy type." Death explained to Bill "I also believe that Jigglypuff has the secondary typing of Fairy as well."
Bill nodded and seemed interested "Sure, can you tell me how you reached these conclusions?"
"Certainly" Death agreed and chuckled "I'd be happy to share the observations I made in my journal with you as well. It's still early in my research, but it is still something."
Yu-Gi-Oh fans may want to suggest cards for him ot buy from his system store. Note that his system creates card spirits that will be looyal to him and his allies, and they can gain a small buff to their potential for each spirit that he bonds to them. However, as he starts bonding to spirits, the cost of new spirits will begin to greatly increase in the shop, meaning that it is beneficial to buy a huge number before he starts bonding with any. Anyway, I'll work on a list of my own and let readers suggest more cards that he should acquire.
Note that should he enter the Yu-Gi-Oh world his deck would stand out a lot since every card in it is like a full art card/ultra rare from his world. He only needs to buy each card once then can make copies of it with arc of embodiment.
And yes, this does include the Egyptian God Cards, which are already on my list.
By the way, the reason that the shop sells spell/trap cards is for compatability with duel spirits in decks. If he creates the cards without first buying one copy then it'll be like they are counterfeit and the duel spirits wont be able to influence them at all. So yes, those are important as well.
