"Oh goddess," Leroy whispered as he looked at his old friend, sleeping on her bed, with a blade embedded in her chest. She was bleeding and the warriors were trying hard to stop the bleeding but it seemed like the blood wasn't about to stop flowing.

It didn't help that the blade had left an ugly mark on Ilya, and that her wound was already swollen, not to mention it was turning green. She had been poisoned and the worst part of it all, was that these two didn't know what to do to fix Ilya.

Maybe because there was nothing that could really be done for her.

"Ilya, how are you feeling?" Ileus asked as he rushed to Ilya, and checked on her wound. He wanted to say there was hope but there wasn't any. The lycan queen was dying and they could all feel it in their links to her.

"Like I'm fighting with Nymeriah all over again," Ilya said with a laugh as she struggled to breathe and even talk.
