'What's stopping them?' Unar asked himself when the warlocks peacefully retreated despite the vigor they had come here with.

They had been ready to burn Udrad down and yet one look at the young warlock got them to change their minds. That was too kind for a thief, but Unar would be on the lookout.

He hadn't become the prince the people of Udrad trust just because he smiled at everyone and he knew he would have to find out what it was.

From the stories Unar had heard about the Greroth warlocks, he was already aware that they took everything that was owed to them. They never cared whether the blood of the innocent was spilled in their quest, as long as they got what was rightfully theirs.

They could have easily brought down Udrad and taken their prisoner so what the hell was happening?

Celia and the other warlocks walked back home, their worry for Alanor increasing and their desire to let Criselda know heightening.
