Kapitel 41: Encampment

Scoffing at the brave front, Ennon slowly drew closer towards the girls. His step slowly due to the heavy blood loss. However, he appeared confident, knowing the nieve kids in front of him would not be able to understand how weak he currently was.

"Give up. You take arcana from the air while I have it tracing my muscles, my very bones from within me. You two are outclassed!" Ennon shouted with buried eyes.

Knowing escape was not feasible, Aurelia charged towards Ennon. While Ella rushed east, picking up a few rocks.

Noticing a golden blur within his sights, Ennon, blinded from blood loss and weak, attacked with all he had. Slashing his sword towards Aurelia's chest, the young girl gasped at the intense speed. Leaping away in haste, a single line of crimson began to trickle from her bosom. Slowly a stream of blood began to consume her fitly clothing.

Groaning in anguish, Ennon charged ruthlessly, kneeing Aurelia in the face before she reacted. Shattering her noise, a faint cry resounded as crimson liquid rushed over her. Blinded by the stars within her sights, the young child didn't even notice the swift kick towards her face blasting her off her feet.

Shocked at the cruelty, Ella pushed all the arcana she could muster into the five rocks she found, ruthlessly hurling them towards Ennon like bullets. Tearing into his face, the knight screamed, dropping his weapon, falling to a knee before clenching his face.

"My Face, my face!" Ennon screamed as globs of blood flowed from his flesh.

"Aurelia, we need to run!" Ella screamed, helping her friend up in haste. Noticing the endless blood flowing from her face, her heart trembled. "Aurelia?" she called out regarding the girl's still body.

"I... am fine." Aurelia feebly whispered, her face blackening with bruises. "I... understand now."

Turning towards Ennon, still, upon his knee crying in anguish, Aurelia opened her palm, "Come to me, Eldrich." She chanted. When all of a sudden, an amethyst sigil covered in hundreds of runes appeared around Aurelia's palm before vanishing, leaving a staff given to her by Zireael.

"Magic Bullet," Aurelia cast towards the young knight.

Casting one of the originals spells Zireael had taught her, the air began to shift, gathering into three small orbs in an instant when all of a sudden they vanished. Leaving only the sounds of air splitting against one another before tearing through the skull of Ennon in an instant, blasting his entire head off.

Fainting at the last-ditch effort, Ella held her body that lay still, looking at the headless body of Ennon. Hastily glancing around, she rushed to his body, grabbing anything that could be of value before leaving in a hurry. Holding her best friend, a sword, and a dagger, Ella pushed her body and mind to the limit fleeing before anything else showed.

Listening to the rustle of the leaves and trees and the breeze against her body, she slowly fell to the ground at dawn. Unable to move anymore, the young girl desperately wheezed for air; her vision was all but turning black as she crawled with Aurelia in hand before she fell still.

"Another one? First, the Silver-headed child now these to two girls. Come on, Kuma Kuma, let's give 'em a ride." A young boy no older than Ella shouted on top of a giant white bear engraved with the swirling sigil of wind.

Picking them up from with its mouth Kuma Kuma rushed through the forest. Moving at speeds not seen by normals monsters. Entering the depts of the unknown forest towards a hidden silver lake glistening under the morning star.

"Sionn, did you bring another?" A mighty voice from the depts of the lake called out. A large reptilian head appeared, attached to hits back was a massive shell with a hexagonal shape pattern covered in Younger Futhark runes.

Slowly peeping its head out of the water, the noble turtle eyed the two girls, its large beady eyes falling upon the Elderch staff pulsing with an evil aura. Sniffing the air, he turned to Sionn, "Get them into the Druid encampment. That little boy should be up, and with him being a human, he may be scared."

Flashing the giant turtle with a massive smile Kuma Kuma picked the two girls up, rushing past the lake into the forest where a large encampment of druids roamed about. Standing at the large gate stood two warriors dressed in a leather jerkin covered by leaves, with two scimitars at their waist and staff within their palms.

"Sionn? Again?" Said one of the warriors creasing his sharp brow. Noticing the familiar aura around Ella, he frowned, scuffing in disgust, "Why are you bringing more humans to our circle? Did you not renounce your human ways after fleeing from captivity? Or was the death of your parents at the hands of humans, not enough? Did their lives mean nothing?"

"Enough, Znor. Sionn you may enter." the other guardian kindly said, waving them through. Hanging his head low, the young boy pulled down his sleeves, trying to hide his scars. Sensing its master's shame, Kuma Kuma growled in comfort, heading through the gate.

Hiding his face from those around him, Sionn made his way towards his hut. Noticing the Silver headed by still resting, Kuma Kuma dropped the girls down while Sionn began tending to their wounds.

"I heard you brought back another two." Vala, Leader of the Druid people, spoke with a loving smile, her gaze slowly falling upon Ella. "Oh, it's a Wood Elf? And she has the gift how interesting."

"I didn't know... Sorry, Elder Vala. " Sionn softly said, as water slowly began to fill his sights. "I just wanted to help them."

"Oh, Child, I took you in not because of your race but because of your heart. All you know was a life of slavery, but please think before you head out, Sionn. Humans hate our kind if they knew of us then—"

"I know, but I just couldn't leave them." said the boy with tearful eyes. "mama and papa would not approve if I did."

"Is that why you took me to this backwatered hell hole." The chilling voice of Zireael rang, startling everyone. Hoisting his body up, an icy gleam filled his sights. He surveyed his surroundings, his gaze falling upon Vala. Observing her pointed ears and magnificent features, he arose, turning towards Aurelia and Ella.

"Young man, you have a set of words to you." Vala cautiously said, hearing the whispers of warning from the forest. She pulled Sionn behind her in haste, "Who are you?"

Pulling a veil out of the air, Zireael tossed his bathwater upon the two girls turning to Vala, "Zireael Blackwater." He said, summoning a bottle of whiskey as a wave of heartache gripped his icy soul.

"As in Duke Blackwater of the Kingdom of Ferrum?"
