Kapitel 163: Sachem

Kane with thick fur-clad robes ran across the thin mountain trail. It was the region of Uncia, so what could you expect except rocky uneven mountainous regions. He was running at full speed which he could muster without falling down the slippery road.

His breath was faltering due to the rough trek, but he was used to such things thus doesn't bother stopping for a break. In the all-year-round snowy regions like this, sometimes the line between life and death is too blurry to notice. And when you do realize, you found yourself already on the border with no way back.

He slowed down his pace, as he began to recover his stamina all the while continuing to walk. The snow and terrain make the man waver. It lures the human to stop for rest, to recover breath, to remove your tiredness. 

His heart was beginning to suggest he should stop for a few seconds. He can't go on like this. He had been traveling through the snowy wilderness for the last three days unstopped.
