Kapitel 20: Gathering of Heroes

Tommorow morning, Sauren and Zeph decided to roam the city for sightseeing.Houses made with stone were lined on both sides of streets.To afford house in city,one should have sufficient money and connections to higher ups of government.

One thing they did manage to see was large number of warriors in the city.At almost every nook and corner one could find warrior present there.

"There are so many warriors here,are all of them for competition"whispered Sauren .

"No I don't think all of them ,did you forgot many academies are present in Sokken city.They are probably students roaming city during holidays."

"Hmm....Maybe we should register ourvselves first then"Zeph nodded and they went toward academic block of city that was at eastern part of city.

Reaching their they were awestruck by the magnificence of buildings and infrastructure there.Whole block was overflowing with young warriors wandering here and there.

Sauren stepped forward and was about to ask someone for directions when he heard a loud voice,

"Hey both of you"Sauren turned behind to see a beautiful girl wearing leather combat clothes with short spear strapped behind her .

She was looking like fierce tigress in the pack of wolves,natural strong aura was excluding out her.Sauren was dumbstruck to see such beautiful girl but quickly cleared his mind,he had seen his own share of beautiful models and stars on Earth so he was flustered for only one second.

Zeph was also surprised but more because why such beautiful girl calling them.

Sauren replied"Are you talking to us?"

Girl came close and said,"Who else? Come with me what are you doing standing freely here?There are many matters which still require manpower and instead of helping with preparation ,you are lazing around?"reprimanding both of them she began to walk toward certain direction.

Both of them were dumbstruck at such fierce scolding and still stood dumbly.

She went ahead few metres then turned back to see them not following her.She was annoyed by stupid behaviour of these students as they were still ignoring her words .She decided she would accurately punish them when competition is over by passing suggestion as student council head.

"Follow me now"said irritated girl.

"Hey wait,wait .....WAIT "hurriedly shouted Sauren.

"We are not students here, we are from mercenary corporation came here to participate in competition"Sauren cleared misunderstanding .

Girl was absolutely stunned then remembered her rude behaviour.She went red from embarassment.oh no, they must be thinking how rude student council acts toward students.

She hurriedly bowed to apologise for her earlier behaviour,"I'm sorry.I mistook you for one of students lazing around, actually usually Mercenaries that came to participate are older men and women because warriors of young age are still studying in academies at that age."

"No problem ,we just .....ummmm tutored by our families.Can you please help us by registeration process."

"Ah So I thought,my name is Ceclia student council head of Sokken academy.You can come with me I can show you registration counter .For any future work you could directly come to me."

Zeph and Sauren nodded and went after her for registration.They soon registered themselves by showing official identification certificate of mercenary corps, receptionist was also stunned by such young mercenaries.Ceclia after personally watching completion of registration excused herself .

Zeph and Sauren were already pretty peeved by strange looks of people at registration counter hurriedly escaped outside.To prevent other misunderstanding of bunking Students they decided to return to main city centre .

"Well that was horrible,I hope nothing like this happen again in competition"

"well it is normal to see their reaction because our age travellers are hard to find . I left for travelling because I have no one at home ,why did you became mercenary at such young age?"

"well my father forced me to make my own strength from bottom of society so technically he threw me out of home."sighed Sauren remembering stern expression of his father.He at first found it hard to accept his new father but watching him trying his hard to raise a capable child ,he wholly accepted him.

"So you are homeless now"

"Ah yes I can't go back any time soon in future"

As they were strolling around they heard commotion on street,upon approaching crowd what they witnessed was love proposal at middle of street.A young handsome man was proposing girl with red nightglaze flower which stands for love in this world.Girl was beautiful beyond words but had icy expression on her face.

"Fu*k,How dare he propose her in such crowded market,did he want to make us single dogs jealous"muttered Sauren under his breath but all surrounding men heard him clearly.They all looked toward Sauren ,seeing situation bad Zeph quietly distanced himself from him.He did not want to be beaten by mob with his friend.

But expected situation does not occured instead all makes crowded around Sauren and began to whisper among themselves.

"Yes,yes you said right bro ,how he can show off such ostentatiously."

"If he was like us single,he should have done this in deserted area that if he got rejected no one would laugh at him"

"But look at him doing so publicly,clearly he had full confidence in his looks and charm ,I hate exactly this kind of Playboys"

"It will serve him good if that girl reject him publicly"

"Yes yes she should reject that shameless person"

Zeph was stunned. Then he concluded that he still has not enough social awareness about society.Moreover looking towards other side Girls also have similarly whispering group,they must also be cursing that proposing male thought Zeph.But who should tell him that it was exactly opposite in girls group .

Half of them were blessings the couple , minority were supporting Icy expressioned girl and majority were being jealous of that girl's luck for such handsome guy was publicly showing affection for her.

"What are you doing,Mr. kooper?"

"I am proposing you,Brynn .Will you be my girlfriend.From time I saw you first ,I am not able to forget you"said so called Kooper

"Tch,.....too filmy"

Sauren was rapidly commenting in background.

"We just met one day ago Mr. kooper and please stop this embarrasing act .Instead of such foolish part,if you had invited me to spar and defeated me I would have been much more impressed."

Brynn girl said harshly and giving one last disdained look to totally crushed kooper ,went away from that place.

All boys group celebrated excitedly for few minutes but then changed their attitude as sympathetic ones.

Zeph gave Sauren a look then started walking toward other street.Sauren quickly escaped from group and came to his side.Zeph commented,

"That girl was tough"

"of course,she got looks for being that tough .She can easily create lines of boys if she is willing."

"I mean in strength terms,she was giving powerful presence unconsciously"

Sauren nodded and said "Competition will be worth participating "
