Kapitel 648: Mortal Dust (Finale)
Wang Wei sat on his school desk, breathing in and out. He placed his elbows on the desk and supported his head with his hands. Thirty Times. That's how many times he had to experience death. And each time, the experience was not pleasant.
He ignored the noise around him as he took a deep breath. He concentrated on the sound of his beating heart, slowly alienating all the noise in his surrounding. And when he could only hear the soothing rhythmic thumping of his heart, he felt calm, peaceful, and composed.
'Let's see if it works.' He closed his eyes, using a medication technique to enter a realm of absolute silence. As he traveled into the depth of his mind, he soon saw five floating lights, and a rare smile appeared on his face.
He opened his eyes to look at the worried Fatty Jun and said: "I have something for you."
"Huh? Something–Forget about that. Are you alright?"

LazySageDao This is the last chapter of this year. I feel like I have come so far as a writer, and hopefully, I will continue to improve in 2023 to bring all of you a better and more enjoyable story.
Here are some things to look forward to in 2023 for JFDE: The Heaven Will Battle, Wang Wei's Era, and his Ascension. I will stop being lazy and update more chapter weekly, at least 2 extra chapters a week. Gifts are always welcome for more chapters.
I will also not laze around and, finally, have an artist draw some character designs. Many people have been asking, and I saved the money, but well, I'm called LazySage for a reason.
I want to build a social media presence. I have a struggling Youtube Channel and TikTok and plan to post more videos. I think it might be a great way to further build the world of JFDE. Maybe I can tell the story of people like Wu Hong, Qiyuan, and the Absolute Beginning Emperor through video format.

If AI develops to the point that people can use it to create webtoons, and there is a site where artists license their work to said AI, I might turn JFDE into a webtoon. However, this is more of a dream than a goal.
