Kapitel 227: Happy Birthday

Kathleen had a lot on her mind as she walked into her office, and just waved at Dave distractedly before sitting down. He was in love with her? Of course she knew he liked her, but it was like hearing those words from him had taken a lot of burden from her shoulders, and now she felt light. She felt at peace with herself after hearing that. What had been even more satisfying was the fact that he had also seemed surprised by his confession. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she thought of all he had said. 

"This one you're smiling like this, this kind of early morning." Rosy said with a teasing smile as she stood in front of Kathleen's desk, making her wonder when they became friends that had such conversations. 

"What?" Kathleen asked, trying not to sound rude. 

"Calm down na. Abi we dey quarel? (Are we quarrelling?)" Rosy asked, flashing her a smile.
