I slammed my hand on the floor and dragged myself to the nightstand while gritting my teeth. 

'Oh, it seems you're getting a bit more aware, so I'm about to fade out. Just make sure to absorb that Nether Stone without hesitation,' My inner demon says before disappearing completely. 

It felt like somebody cut a telephone line inside my head. 

Slowly, I stood up and clung to the edge of the nightstand before being presented with what looked to be a small treasure chest. 

It didn't look all that special, but there seemed to be a key-shaped hole in the middle of the chest.
