The Akatsuki closed the gap as Qianye Ying'er observed the newest Exia model with interest.
"I see that you've remade your original Gundam. You sure do love the colour purple, don't you?"
She sent a transmission to Rokas, analysing the machine. It seemed rather simple on the outside compared to the Akatsuki… however, that did not mean that it was inferior. Its particle emission on its own was very dense and efficient, quite unlike the other Gundams.
"There's not another colour that's more alluring to me." Rokas replied, leaning his head on his right hand. "So… now that you've found me, what are you going to do?"
"Whatever you want. I'll be your escort."
"I've been doing rather well without protection."
"You're still in the Divine Spirit Realm, aren't you? It doesn't matter what type of Gundam you have, you'll always be vulnerable outside of one."
"You're right… I do need a smaller suit of armour." Rokas nodded. 'Like an iron man suit, maybe.'
"Maybe you want to visit the scarlet brat? From what I've heard, she is rather devastated. She feels betrayed, alone. The poor little thing, I almost pity her."
"I don't think visiting her with you right next to me is a great idea." Rokas replied, chuckling. He shook his head. "She'd murder me straight up."
"You think I'd let her touch a single hair on your head, let alone kill you?" Qianye Ying'er questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I'd sooner slaughter their God Emperor, their pathetic Star Gods and turn their entire Realm into a ruin than see you harmed."
"So wholesome." Rokas noted with a sarcastic tone in his voice. "I am blushing right now."
"So… we're not doing anything. Why not go now?"
That caught Rokas off guard.
"... Now? No way."
"Why not?" Qianye Ying'er questioned. "You dearly miss her, don't you? You said you didn't want to run and hide anymore… and here you are, afraid of your own master. If not now, when do you intend to do so? What change in the future will prepare you to face the scarlet brat?"
"I'd like to do it on my own, when the time is right. Having you around would just complicate things." Rokas replied, shaking his head.
"I said I would apologise, didn't I? How do you expect me to do so if you won't allow me to meet her face to face? I'm beginning to think that you don't care about that poor little princess at all."
'The gaslighting is crazy.' Rokas thought to himself. Though, deep down, he really wanted to see Jasmine. He had longed for it… for her presence. It always felt like he was missing something.
"... Fine. Just remember what I said previously."
"Mhm."
The Akatsuki soared higher, in the trajectory of the Star God Realm. The Violet Queen followed.
~
The Star God Realm.
The arrival of two gundams instantly woke the entire realm. The Star God Emperor, followed by his twelve star gods all rallied at the core of their realm along with thousands of elders and millions of disciples. Generally, Gundams were bad news but Xing Juekong had no intent of facing the Brahma Monarch God Realm.
The Akatsuki descended alongside the Violet Queen with Rokas leaving his cockpit first. He was dressed in his mamba-coloured robes. Immediately, he recognised Jasmine and wanted to reach out but her face…
It was one of endless disgust.
Rokas hesitated.
Qianye Ying'er floated down, joining him. She took off her mask, glancing at Jasmine as she pecked Rokas on the cheek. Many were in awe of Ying'er's appearance while Jasmine looked all the more disgusted. After exchanging looks, Qianye Ying'er grinned slightly with a sense of triumph as she put per mask back on again.
"What do you think of this Star God Realm, dear fiance?"
'... Bitch.' Rokas wiped the side of his face with his sleeve, stepping forward.
"Welcome to the Star God Realm, Brahma Monarch Goddess and Long Ke. The famed direct disciple of the Brahma Heaven God Emperor… it truly is a pleasure to see you for the first time."
"Jasmine." Rokas ignored him, still looking at her. "Can we talk in private?"
"You know each other?" The Star God Emperor chuckled, glancing between Rokas and Jasmine. "How could that be possible?"
Jasmine crossed her arms and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. When they opened again, her eyes were crimson oceans of killing intent directed at both Rokas and Qianye Ying'er. Their golden eyes looked almost the same to her. Even Rokas' brown hair looked almost golden. It was like facing a male Qianye Ying'er…
"Of course, we can, 'dear' disciple." Jasmine's facial expression was deathly indifferent. "Come right this way."
"Let them." Qianye Ying'er glanced at the Star God Emperor. "They have soooo much to catch up on, after all. It would be rather unwise to deny my fiance's wishes."
"... Very well." The Star God Emperor nodded, observing the Akatsuki behind Ying'er.
Rokas followed Jasmine inside of her Star God Palace. The atmosphere around them was terribly awkward and silent. Rokas couldn't quite think of a way to break the ice. He knew he was in deep shit.
"How does it feel being Ying'er's dog?" Jasmine questioned, her back turned as she suddenly stopped pacing forward.
"I'm not-"
"Does she let you fuck her for each gundam you make for her? Do you wear a leash for her in private? How low do you go for her?"
"I've walked away from her for almost a year now." Rokas replied, shaking his head. "What the fuck do you want me to do when she had me chained? Trapped in the Brahma Monarch God Realm? I did what I had to earn my freedom back."
"Yes, yes… that you did. You became her fiance, you very likely gave her a monumental breakthrough and empowered the Brahma Monarch God Realm to heights that they would only dream of. Ying'er must love you. Or rather, she loves the things that you've given her." Jasmine chuckled, shaking her head. "Even if you walk away for the rest of your life, it doesn't matter. You've already given her the World."
"I have not."
She turned to face Rokas, staring into his eyes.
"The more I think about it, the worst it seems. I remember when we spoke in the Heavenly Sword Villa of love… of my brother… of that bitch. Do you remember what you said, how you defended her actions? It was my brother's fault, you said…"
"I still stand by that." Rokas didn't flinch. "He abandoned you for his one-sided love, he left you alone in the world."
Jasmine's body shook slightly as a crimson light flickered around her body.
"And you're any different? From the very beginning… you knew… you wanted to be entangled with her, didn't you? I… was just a tool for you to reach her, wasn't I?"
"... What the fuck? Do you really think I… that I would use you?" Rokas stuttered slightly, feeling a boundless surge of emotions flowing within. "Do you think that I intended to get kidnapped and raped? Do you really think that I loved being used against my will? I hated it…"
"Poor you, raped by the Brahma Monarch Goddess." Jasmine scoffed, almost chuckling in a mocking manner. "It's as if that is every man's dream handed on a golden platter. Hardly the terrible experience. Especially considering that now you bend to her will… you enjoyed it, didn't you?"
"I… it was a rollercoaster of emotions, I'll admit."
Jasmine closed the gap between them, drawing a dagger to his throat.
'Honesty is NOT the best policy.' Rokas thought to himself, although he didn't look frightened. "Jasmine…"

Rokas didn't even bother to make a remark at the System's choice of music.
"I… looked up to you for guidance and advice from the first time we met. When I couldn't bring myself to work hard, you pushed me forward. In my heart… all I have for you is endless gratitude. That's why I wanted to free you from your fate, no matter what I had to go through. I made a promise…"
"You have no idea how tempting it is to slice your throat open and watch Qianye Ying'er squirm for the first time in her wretched life." Jasmine glared into Rokas' soul, her eyes just as sharp as the dagger in her hand. "I want to, I truly want to…"
"So… all of our time together meant nothing to you?" Rokas questioned, leaning his head back slightly. "Nothing at all?"
"The Rokas I knew died nearly two years ago. In his absence, stands the so-called direct disciple of the Brahma Heaven God Emperor and Ying'er's bitch." Jasmine itched the blade closer, cutting into his skin. "A slave of my nemesis… to think that she would take you too, as if my brother wasn't enough."
"She didn't take shit-"
Jasmine dug deeper.
"Did she not? You dress like them, you act like them and you even look like them. How could you not be considered her good little Brahma Monarch dog? Do you wag your tail for her too?"
"All a formality-"
"Rokas… Long Ke… Jiufang Ke… whoever you are now, I despise you." Jasmine threw him into the wall, cutting a little deeper. "From the bottom of my heart, I feel NOTHING but a deep desire to slaughter you. I want to carve you into pieces and send them all to the golden bitch in a nice little box. You understand that, don't you?"
"..." Rokas' golden eyes flashed blue as he lowered them. Those were truly harsh words. He did not even feel the pain from his neck. His heart hurt far more.
"Though… in the memory of who you were… I'll give you ten seconds to disappear from my sight and never return again."
"Jasmine…-"
"If you do, I'll kill you."
She let go of his neck, lowering her blade.
"... I made a silent promise to myself years ago that you wouldn't die." Rokas reaffirmed, looking her in the eyes. "And I'll make it to you now, too."
"You're wasting your precious ten seconds."
"I don't know why you're so intent on staying in this shithole, surrounded by people you hate… but I won't ever allow you to be sacrificed for your father's ambitions. I won't let you die. I'll turn the entirety of Primal Chaos into a blazing hell before I'd lose you… why? You're a part of me, Jasmine. Someone I treasure from the bottom of my heart. You were there for me from the very beginning and I won't ever forget that, I won't ever be ungrateful for what you did for me and all the time that we spent together. I don't care how much you pretend to hate me, how many times you threaten my life or point a blade at me, I don't care how much you wound me… as long as I live, I promise…"
"I promise to protect you."
Although he did not say it loudly, he spoke from the bottom of his heart. It was a speech from the very soul.
Jasmine's crimson eyes shook slightly before she hastily turned away. Even she, in her cold and heartless state, had felt a rush of emotions.
"Leave… now."
"I'll do whatever it takes. You won't be alone."
Rokas promised before finally turning away.

He returned to the place where everyone was gathered, standing at the highest step of the Star God Palace. With each second, more and more of his aura surged out. First, it was no more than a chaotic crimson swirl. But it grew and grew… forming an ocean of raging dragons whose roars rumbled both heaven and earth. His brown hair, which was set in a nice manbun, broke loose as he stared at the people standing before him.
His eyes were crimson red, raging with the berserk attribute.
The sky itself had turned dark and several blows of white tribulation lightning struck the Star God Realm, leading to many of the people moving in to defend their homes… supported by their Star Gods. Qianye Ying'er observed his state with amusement and a smile curled along her lips. This was the man she adored. Or rather, the idea of his boundless potential… the potential to trample everything in the universe.
This amount of primordial energy… it hadn't been seen since the True Gods fell.
He did not speak a word as he descended down the steps, at his own pace. The lower he got, the more of his aura dispersed until it all returned to him.
"... What happened in there, Long Ke?" Xing Juekong questioned, raising an eyebrow. "If my daughter offended you-"
"Nothing of the sort happened." Rokas walked past him with an indifferent tone to his voice, brushing his shoulder against the Star God Emperor. Although weaker in profound strength, he towered over him. His presence, too, seemed several times mightier at that moment. "I bid you all farewell for now."
"... Very well." Xing Juekong nodded, observing that the white Heavenly Tribulation lightning had ceased. He could almost breathe a sigh of relief that a tragedy hadn't occurred.
"Did the scarlet brat hurt your feelings?" Qianye Ying'er whispered into Rokas' ear as he reached Exia IV. "By the look on your face and your raging aura, it seems so…"
"I have you to thank for that… and myself. I'll take full responsibility and make things right."
"... I see." Qianye Ying'er nodded, taking note of his blunt reply. "Take responsibility for what, though? What wrongs has she accused you of?"
"That is none of your concern, Ying'er."
"Don't fret too much about it, I already have an idea of what she may have said to you." Qianye Ying'er grinned slightly, shrugging her shoulders. "The scarlet brat's hatred of me is rather spectacular. There are few… if any… that hate me more."
Rokas did not reply to that, hopping straight into the Violet Queen.
"We're going to the Brahma Monarch God Realm."
"Sounds good to me." Qianye Ying'er nodded. "You're a bit authoritative today, aren't you? I like it, you're acting more like my father's direct disciple should."
Rokas looked back on the Star God Realm for one more time before soaring higher through his Gundam.
'One day, Jasmine… I will hold you in my arms again.'
