Kapitel 32: Chapter 31

Zander's POV

After we arrived at the hospital, the guards cleared everyone off the floor except for us, Zane, Orson, and the staff.

Amber showed up to support Orson arriving a few minutes after us.

Zane was pacing back and forth when he saw us.

"Thank god you're here. She is in surgery now" His eyes were bloodshot and he and Orson were filled with dust from the debris of the bombing.

I rush over "How is she? What happened?" he let out a frustrated sigh and ran his hand through his hair.

"She was the last one in there, she was supposed to shoot and come out after us, we saved the lookalike and Alex. I ... I didn't see the bombs, none of us did, they were hidden in barrels throughout the room. I never would have let her come if I would have known she was the last distraction. My little girl is in there hurting..." he finally broke down in sobs, and Orson put his hand on his shoulder and finished telling us what happened.
