Kapitel 53: So Long Everyone

I sat on the chair drinking a herbal tea Bianca made for me. Another two days passed since my fever had gone down. 

Another day then I'll be heading back to the village. I told Gin about this already, and he didn't seem to approve or disagree. All he said was to never remove the necklace. 

I never stepped out of my room. Ever since I've heard of the news about Belle staying in one of the rooms in the palace. 

But to my luck. There is no chance of us bumping into each other. Belle was placed in another palace which I assume is where Kaeden is residing right now. 

It's not like I care. But the guilt stored in me keeps growing each day. I thought I would be assigned with another maid. But in the end, Bianca stayed with me.

"Did you not want to serve Belle?" I asked Bianca out of curiosity. Who placed her hands together. 

"To be honest. I don't want to."

"Why not? Aren't you happy that the real one is here?"
