Kapitel 92: A kiss on her lips - 1

Morpheous silently watched her standing a couple of feet away in the graveyard. He could see her body tremble as she broke down into tears.

Kneeling in front of that birch tree, in her pink dress, she looked nothing like the strong and confident woman he knew her as. She looked broken; she looked like she needed someone to comfort her and tell her that everything was going to be ok.

Because he knew very well how much she blamed herself for not picking up that call.

Seeing her chug the whiskey from the bottle, he started getting worried. She wasn't someone who handled alcohol well. So even though he knew it was not his job to interfere, he just couldn't stop when he saw her taking another sip.

"Didn't I tell you not to drink without me?" And he walked towards her.

She turned back, and he could clearly see how surprised and annoyed she was at the same time.
