Kapitel 58: Regular Patient

I sit in my office and I go through the files and emails that the replacement doctor sent and did in my absence. I do not mind if another doctor works in my place, they usually look well after my patients. But that is not what is bothering me, the fact that I am in a wheelchair, that is the thing that is bothering me.

But I try not to think about it and then carry on with my work. Then someone knocks on the door and to my surprise, it is Dr. Gerard. I just know that he is going to say something about the wheelchair.

"Ah, Dr. Stone it is good to see you back again. We missed you over here"

"I am sure you are lying. Everyone is still doing well and most importantly my patients are alive"

He laughs at my snappy comeback and then his eyes see the wheelchair. He storms to my side and then he says.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

"Oh, that is just Jen being overprotective. I just hurt my ankle and now she wants me in a wheelchair"
