I received 10 missed calls from my cousin, Bryan since 3 hours ago. I could not pick it up since I was in the operation room. There was an emergency case that I need to settle right away or the patient might be 'expired'.

I tried to call Bryan back but I there was no answer.

'That's weird.'

I headed to the lobby as soon as the work hours ended where Jayden was waiting for me there. It has been a week since he got suspended by the chief and I have not heard any news whether he might continue to work here or not. Moreover, he might not be able to work anywhere if he did get fire since it will leave him a bad record on his performance as a doctor.

'I feel sorry about him...'

'And it was my fault that caused him to get into a fight with Tanner.'

I stopped my paces when walked pass by of Jayden's office, next to my office. It was empty inside, only his lab coat and ID were there at the clothes rack. Surely, I missed to work with him so much.
