Once Haru finished eating his first meal of the day, they finally went to the next floor by riding the escalator. Sakura already noticed how the people on the other side drew their attention to Haru, and he even caught the attention of more people as they sauntered along the hallway of the second floor.
She glanced at him, who didn't seem to be bothered with the attention he was getting. With his mysterious and alluring appearance, and tall and good physique, who wouldn't lay their eyes on him? If she didn't know him at all, she'd probably do the same.
"Haru, have you watched the special clip?" Sakura asked as she hasn't seen it herself.
"Nah, don't wanna see myself on video."
"And why is that?" she curiously inquired
He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know. Not my thing."
"Let's watch it together later then," she grinned and walked faster than him.
"Eh?" he blinked his eyes quickly and followed her steps. "Why?"
"Why what?" she stifled her laughter while roaming her gaze around the rooms, still ahead of him.
"Why are we going to watch it together?" he matched her pace and stared at her confusingly.
"Why not?" she bit her lower lip, preventing herself from laughing at his cute reaction.
He squinted her eyes at her, "There you go again."
"Hmm?" she responded softly this time and stood in front of a shelf containing different types of linen sprays.
"Nevermind-"
"I don't think there's something wrong in watching the video together, right?" she smiled at him. "Besides, many people have already-"
Haru scratched the temple of his head, "Aren't they only interested because of my looks?"
"'Yes, you are handsome, very handsome," she glanced at him, "But on top of that, you have the talent and skills. You're an artist. You make art…very pretty latte art."
"Uh…hmm... alright, I'll think about it," he murmured with a tinge of red on his cheeks. He often received compliments for his looks and latte art, but she didn't expect Sakura to put more emphasis on his craft, which definitely made his heart warm and fuzzy inside.
"Let's watch it later after lunch," she suggested, and a beaming smile appeared on her face. "And please… you don't have to be shy, it's just me."
The two then took their time checking the interior and decors sold at Miouji, and they mostly looked at white and brown things that would fit the theme Sakura was aiming to. They easily found the things on her lists, such as rattan baskets, sheer curtains, storage racks, and mini old wood glass cabinets. There were also items that she wanted to buy on the spot and even had a selection of some things that confused Haru as to why she picked those.
"What's this for?" he asked when Sakura handed him a 5-piece set of fake white and pink tulips.
"Decor," she answered and proceeded to the next shelf.
"I know, but is this necessary?"
"Of course!" she chuckled upon hearing his response. "I want to make my space prettier. I buy fresh flowers once in a while, but you know buying them every week is expensive."
"How about this one?" he placed the fake flowers inside the metal basket and pointed to the string of small lights.
She glanced at the object he was referring to, "The fairy lights? It's for me time! If I want to relax and watch a movie, I'll switch on the fairy lights."
Haru only nodded, but he was already trying to envision her in his mind whilst she watched a movie in her bedroom with only the fairy lights on. 'Pretty nice,' he thought.
Later on, they headed to the third floor where there were showrooms of the different apartment and house styles. They only entered some of the rooms. and while viewing a contemporary living room, Sakura stared at the open space after catching a glimpse of a man, who just passed by.
"Sakura, what is it?" Haru moved closer to her. "Something wrong?"
She shook her head and smiled. "I thought I saw someone I knew, but moving forward…" a beige fluffy shag rug on display caught her eyes. "I really like this one. It's not on my list, but should I get it?"
He chuckled, hearing the same question for the nth time now. "You should just get it if you like it. You don't have to ask me anymore since you end up getting all of them."
"Is that so?" she laughed softly. "Please stop me from getting stuff I don't need in my apartment."
"Who am I to stop you from what you want to buy? Besides…"
"Besides?" she stepped out of the room and waited for him to follow her.
"I like seeing your eyes sparkle every time you see something that you like," he said under his breath as he followed her.
"I'm sorry, can you repeat what you said?" she creased her brows.
"I said… you look cute right now," he looked at her, anticipating her reaction.
"I know I'm cute," she batted her eyelashes, then creased her brows afterward. "Waaaait! You're not helping at all! You want me to be penniless even before my next paycheck."
"Not my problem," he snickered.
"That was mean of you," she shot daggers at him.
"Work as a part-timer at our café in case you get broke," he walked ahead of her this time.
"With that said, I'm assuming I did great yesterday," she smugged, matching his pace.
Haru smiled and the cute dents on his cheeks appeared. They spent a little more time checking the rooms and after another 30 minutes, Sakura already paid for the things. All the stuff she could bring home were carefully wrapped and were put inside the paper bags, while the interiors would be delivered to her apartment three to five days after.
"Haru, where do you want to eat for lunch? My treat," Sakura asked as soon as they stepped out of Miouji, a happy smile displayed on her doll face.
