Kapitel 36: Deal with the spirit

The boy's expression twitched, dumbfounded, rather. He was about to open his mouth and utter words when Lilith interrupted him and offered another for his benefit.

"I will play with you if you help me" Lilith grinned. At this point, even the spirit was somehow terrified of Lilith's unknown idea. He could refuse but what is there for him to lose in the deal. It was a tempting deal for him. That at last, he will be granted to enter the mansion with permission from the owner herself.

However, Lilith's problem would be that, he was unknown to her. Not a background of his history in the mansion, let alone the intention of the spirit; good or bad. She knew the high possibility of the impostor being a spectre but she took the risk for the larger and long-term benefit.

"So what do you say?" she asked.

"Madam, it seems the clouds have gone mild and calm" Mr. Wilson called from her back in which his body was facing the doorway out. "I'll be in my way now, madam"
